YC/Epcot Resorts - Jogging Paths?

I'm doing a split stay next week at YC and the Swan/Dolphin, and while I'm not a long-distance runner by any means, I do hope to take advantage of the Florida weather and get a few short 2-3 mile runs in. I've never stayed at an Epcot resort before, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight about a good place to go for a little jog in that area?

Any help would be appreciated. :) Thank you!

Just head out the door of your resort and start running around the lake. You'll find a lot of company, especially if you run in the morning. The path continues all the way to Hollywood Studios, then you have to double back. It is only a little more than a mile, but it is scenic. :)

If you leave YC and turn right, jog down to Dolphin, around the pool and come out at the Swan, over the bridge to BW then turn right toward the resort and take the path (it's paved) to HS, go up as far as you can toward the gate and back track to BW, turn right onto the BW and around it back to YC. It will be close to 2 miles if you do it that way. A little round about but you can get it in. Do the same thing from the Swan except go to HS first then around BW to BC/YC and to the Dolphin around the pool and back to the Swan. According to what time in the morning you do it, it can be very peaceful. I used to get up around 5 am and do and there weren't very many other joggers/walkers out at that time and it wasn't too hot yet. There are some pretty decent hills at BW and around toward YC which give you a little more of a cardio work out. There will be a map in your room of the resort and the jogging trails at YC and if you search here on the boards Robo has a number of good ones.

When we were at the BC (maybe YC has the same), DH asked and they sent him over to the lobby concierge. Turns out, their suggested route, about a 3 mile run, was to go out past the parking lot (he had fun waving to the Security person at the guard shack every day), turn down under the road (right?), around past BWV, then back up past the Swan and Dolphin. I was surprised that they gave him that route that goes out to the main roads, rather than around the wooden boardwalk or down to DHS.

I've done the outside loop a few times and it's 90% sidewalks on Epcot Resorts Drive and Buena Vista Drive. It's about a 2.6 mile loop but you do run out of sidewalk as you approach the underpass that goes under the canal between the BW and BC. The inside loop around crescent lake is .8 miles and as others suggested there are additional safe pathway tangents to elongate your run. I've included the New Balance map posted by Hurricane Hannahs that show the path. Have fun!
