My family and I (DH, DS (2) and me) are planning an 8-day trip in late Aug.--early Sept. and are interested in splitting our stay between WL and the YC/BC. I have stayed at the WL before and feel pretty comfortable making my room requests there, but I do not have that same level of experience with the YC/BC resort and would like some input from others who have stayed there. I have read many posts about this resort, including the comprehensive FAQ post, and I am overwhelmed by the amount of information available. So, my specific questions are:
1. Which of the two has better standard rooms ("Better" meaning nicer views or larger configurations)?
2. Since these resorts seem large, which room area (e.g. near elevator) would you recommend for a family with a small child?
3. Does either resort offer better "quick" food options (I am thinking of something akin to Roaring Forks for quick breakfast foods and snacks) or are the choices roughly equivalent in either resort?
4. Since we have a young child, having a balcony will be important for us while he is sleeping--are there standard rooms at both resorts that offer full balconies or does one resort have an advantage over another in this area?
Thank you in advance for your replies!
