YC/BC--anyone else like one better than the other?

Does anyone besides me have a preference? I assumed since they are so similar that I would like them almost exactly the same. They were definitely both very nice, but I preferred the Yacht Club. I liked the new room decor better, and the lobby was very relaxing and not too crowded. The Beach Club's lobby was always mobbed with people, not that it really bothered us or anything. I would happily stay at either one again though--Disney World take me away! Anyone else like one more than the other?

We have the BCV as our home DVC resort, so naturally we are a bit partial! But I can understand your preference. The YC has a really nice nautical feel to it, with darker colors and a more formal (but no less fun) atmosphere than the BC. If they'd had "Yacht Club Villas" in the DVC in addition to the BCV it would have been a very difficult choice indeed!

Really, the only thing the YC lobby lacks is Art the Greeter!

Oh I love that guy!! He's so friendly and happy all the time. We're staying at the YC this August but I know I'll wander though the BC just to say hi to Art because he just makes my day.
