YBC or Boardwalk or WL?

We are planning our next trip and I thought I had narrowed our resort choice down to the WL, but I started doing some research about other deluxe hotels and now I am curious about the Yacht & Beach Club and the Boardwalk. I think my kids would love to have the "mini" water park option at the YBC. They are all under 9 and I understand that the park is great for the little ones. I also think that we would all love the Boardwalk because of all the of the activity that goes on there.

Please let me know your choice of the three and why?

Thanks in advance!

First I will say there is no wrong choice. My personal favorite is BW and the pool there has a very long slide. The resort is ideal for activities and location (you can walk to Epcot and MGM). Second would be YC/BC; same location advantage as BW and the most impressive pool on site; WL is an ideal site if you like a wilderness feeling and intend to go to MK the most. WL room sizes are smaller than BW or YC/BC.

It is all a matter of personal preference on theming and location.

my favorite location is the Epcot resorts! so, Y&B club and BW are both awesome locations! it is so convenient to be able to walk to epcot, and mgm, and there is so much activity right there on the BW, it is a lot of fun, and always something to do! plus the pools are great too! you are right about the pool at the Y&B club! your kids will love it! and so will you!!! ;) it is huge with a few different pools in one! plus hidden hottubs in the rocks!! :)
the Luna Park Pool at the BW is fun too!

as far as theming, my favorite resort is the Yacht club. I like the BW a lot too! I much prefer them over the theming of the wilderness lodge. the WL is beautiful, but a little too "woodsy" and rustic for my tastes!

let us know what you decide!

Laura :)

Thank your for your help, I think I need to look further into our plans for the trip. The YBC really sounds more attractive to me than WL. I don't necessarily like the rustic theme, I just thought my kids would like it and of course the MK proximity.

With young kids along, I'd go for YC/BC. SAB is probably better for younger kids - just so many options-sand bottom, sand castles, slide, lazy river... Also, we stayed at BW 4 yrs ago. It was a truly wonderful resort, but no restaurants inside the resort. You have to go out on the BW, which could be a bummer on a rainy day. I also found that the restaurants didn't appeal to my kids too much. Beaches & Cream and Cape May Cafe are much more my kids speed. And we just love the whole Epcot resort area. Definitely my DH's top choice for places to stay. Of course whatever you decide, it will be great!
