Yay, Our house is sold!!!!

I had to share the great news with someone. Hubby was recently hired at Patrick AFB down near Coco Beach, Fl. The girls and I stayed behind to finish out the school year,etc. I have been soooo nervous about the house selling in this market, trying to buy a new home, etc. The showings have about drove me crazy, sometimes twice a day. Anyway, we lowered the price by $5,000 and on the 31st day, it was sold. We are so happy and thankful. Just wanted to give some encouragement to those trying to sell in this market. Don't give up!!

Woohoo! We sold ours too! We are being stationed at Ramstein AB and in similar situation as you. What a relief!! Fortunately, we dropped the price but it was at right at the appraisal amount so we were still doing Good luck to all who are selling. I know it can be stressful.

Sellers, don't give up! We listed our house at the end of march and had a full price contract in 1 week. The house we ended up buying was only listed for 3 weeks.

Congrats! We have had ours for sale by owner for almost a year now and while we have had alot of calls most were wanting us to finance it or rent it (not gonna happen). Yesterday we had an older couple drive by and they said they had looked at it before and wanted to know if we would show it right then. I was just excited to have someone seem interested. They seemed to really like it so I hope they call back. We haven't really advertised much because we don't have to sell right now and we don't want to take a loss on it.
