We bought a travel trailer last year and our first trip was close by too....one town over, and just for the weekend. Wanted to get used to it before venturing too far

We have a Keystone Cabana.

I looked at plenty but I can't recall the Keystone Cabana....but those trailer shows can be mind boggling...

Its a fleetwood prowler 31G model. Its 32 feet with a slide out. We do love it. Took it to Lake George, NY last year and the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We also did many local weekends.
We have truely enjoyed it.
We have friends that bought one too and we do everything together.
You will enjoy it

Congratulations on your new travel trailer! My husband and I were watching HGTV the other night and they were coving the RV showing in Ca(?). I see a similar purchase in our future but I have to do loads of research. There are so many different styles!

We just received confirmation for our 4th of July reservations at one of our favorite campgrounds! Last year we waited until June and there was NOTHING left for that week!!

We love camping- it's very relaxing for us!

AT Lake George NY, I would recommend Lake George RV Park. Very nice...paved roads, 3 pools, one of which is indoors, movies and a trolley to get around. And very near everything.

Also look at Strawberry Park in Connecticut...full schedule of activities always going on and located near Mystic.

As for Mass...I have only done local camping and I really haven't found anything special yet....not worth a long haul to.

yes I learned the hard way last year...when it comes to Memorial Day weekend, July 4th week and Labor Day weekend...BOOK EARLY!!
