Okay, I feel at least a *little* better, having something definite to look forward to, even if it is soooooo far away. I'm gonna go Western this time, even if I do think it stinks to have only 2 sea days. Why on earth does it stop at Key West???

Anyways, I'll be on the Magic again on 2/1/03! Yay!! :) Same cat. 7, but on deck 7 this time instead of 5.

Is it too early to pack? ;) Oh yeah, I guess I need to UN-pack first... bleh...

Now how on earth am I going to be able to wait an entire year????

Us too! We booked the same sailing last week. It was the cheapest sailing in early next year -- so we figured we should lock it in now. We have 4 people - so we opted for a cat. 6.

We don't even dare start getting excited now. We'd explode by next February!

BTW, Key West is pretty cool. Especially at night. I know it's not an exotic port -- but, it's fun nonetheless.

Grand Cayman is awesome -- go swim with the sting rays -- you'll never forget the experience!

How cool! A whole year away, and already we have a DIS contingent forming! :D

I've heard about that stingray swim... it *does* sound very, very neat!! I wonder why that particular sailing is less expensive? And I was surprised that the Western itinerary was cheaper than the Eastern... go figure!

I'm seriously considering booking this cruise too. My family and I (ages 3,9,10,33,35) just returned from the 4 day cruise and we had a blast. They all want more!!! I'm debating over whether to get two cat 12 rooms or the cat 4 family room with verandah. The cost difference is $800. That's a lot of bingo cards!!

you're all so lucky that you live close enough to be able to go whenever you want....
that great big atlantic ocean is a big old pain in the derriere....

We also will be on that cruise, can't wait. Went last Feb. came home, had withdrawals, and rebooked.. hope we can all meet up.

Take care and be patient, it will come

Norm and Kim, Joshua (age 8)..

You will be boarding the day that we disembark. What cabin have you booked?????

About getting though the next year. . . .I suggest countdown clocks. I have many milestones and currently am waiting to fall below 200 days.

Planning is half the fun!!! Enjoy;) :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :jester:

We're back in 5132, "our cabin." :D

I'm so glad to see other folks chiming in on this thread! It was great to meet other DIS-ers on the last cruise -- I can't wait to meet more this next time! :)

I've been working on planning this cruise lately, because I'm doing it a bit differently this time. Last time, DS and I flew in the night before, and used Disney transportation both ways. This time, since I have a bit more vacation time, I want to fly in 2 days ahead, rent a car at Avis, spend one night at maybe one of the All-Stars, and go to Epcot that evening. The next night I'd like to stay at the Radisson, and spend the day at Cocoa Beach and Ron Jon's and that kind of thing, then drop the car off at the Avis place at the Radisson. Then after the cruise, we'd use Disney transportation to get back to the airport.

But the logistics and $$-figuring of all of it is driving me batty! LOL!

Anyways, that's where I'm at on everything... how much do the rest of you have planned out?

:) Hey!! DD(4),Hubby and I will also be on the Magic 2-1-03!!! This will be our first Cruise ever. Technically it is only 9 months away!!! It will be here before you know it!! I did already buy Hubby and I these really cool Mickey beach clothes from the Disney outlet in Branson. Also got DD a cute Mickey beach dress. I put them up for our vacation They will be perfect for the cruise. I also think I will hit some end of the summer clearance sales and put things aside for our trip. We are also flying in 2 days early and I want to stay at WL if I can get a good rate. I have been watching discount codes. Nothing for 03 yet?? We atleast have to do MK since DD will finally be tall enough for SM!! I hope we have great sunny weather!!!!! I can not help but think about this trip all the time!!!!!

We too are trying to figure out the transportation logistics. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise, but our 1st one with our son. He will be about 21 months when we travel. We are going to probably stay at Old Key West the night before the cruise and go to Downtown Disney. After the cruise we are going to WDW until Monday. I am hoping to stay at Beach Club, but I can't book for about three more weeks (DVC). We can't wait! I just bought my over the door shoe organizer today for all of our junk for the room!!
