I didn't at first but then I was bored on one of the Monday holidays in high school so I taught myself, mainly because three of my friends always wanted to play but never had a fourth person. Then I found a place to play online (pogo) back in 2002 and it turned out I was very good at Hearts. I have played ever since. Although recently, I've noticed there are a bunch of people who don't know how to lose so they throw games often... so I've ventured out more.
