I made a homemade lasagna today because my parents were busy with the insurance adjusters.
I just ate it and it was actually semi-edible. A little bit crunchier than a lasagna should be, but I digress.

So how are your cooking skills?
Are you an whiz in the kitchen, or someone who cooks with a microwave like me?
I'm a great baker, but cooking is not my specialty.

good job!

i would say that i am mediocre at cooking and baking. I can do both but when I make something, it's not too good. Its alright.

ive been good at everything i try to cook, but then again, thats not much

I work with a microwave and a toaster oven.
I cannot cook, and I cannot bake.
I'm awesome at Mr.Noodles and that's it. I can't even make KD so others will eat it.

My cookies have a lot to be desired too.

I LOVE cooking!
I started cooking in the oven/stove by myself when I was 7, and before that I'd occasionally help my mom with stuff.
I prefer cooking to baking though.

It's really hard for me to ever be able to cook when there's two actual chefs living in this house. We ended up having to make days that we would make dinner, it's pretty annoying.

Congrats on the lasagna!
That's one of my favourite things to make.

I can cook pretty well. My best dish is Coq Au Vin. I should teach Casey (Top chef 3, she butchered the dish) how to make it. Even people who hate me at school think my cooking is awesome. I don't know though, because they could be just saying it to be nice.

yay for you, sonya :)

im good at cooking various baked pasta dishes and lasagne. i also good home-made mac and cheese. not from a box. i make the cheese sauce myself.

my best dish is indian rice pilaf with spiced beef (the meat is just beef mince, sweet chilli sauce, curry powder and peas). i really like that one.

I absolutely love cooking! I started helping my mom and grandma out in the kitchen when I was about 6 or 7. Around 3-4 years ago I really got good at it. I can whip a great dinner out of whatever is left in the fridge. & I get so excited when I buy a new food processor or mixer or spoon! Lol. I usually do most of the cooking in my house. My mom's a great cook too, but I'm kind of a control freak so that kitchen is 'my place' now. When she does something differently than me, I freak out. & my dad's a terrible cook.

I've actually thought about going into it professionally, but I don't think it's for me. I'm a cook, not a chef.

Eh, baking. I love to bake, and I have the best recipe for chocolate chip cookies and angel food cake, but it's soo tedious. Measuring out every single ingredient, blah. I do not like to measure. At all.

Congratulations, Sonya! I haven't made lasagna in a while, I might try it somtime this week. :)

Sounds yummy. :)
I made carrot cake with cream cheese frosting today...turned out good. I wanted to try it out because I was planning on making it for Easter. (lol, planning ahead keeps me excited. ;))

Baking is my favorite, but I love making pasta too. Baked ziti is my favorite to make because you just throw the pasta, cheese, and sauce in the pan, bake it, and people think you spent all day.

I'm a freaking beast in the kitchen. For dinner, I made my parents tuna salad. I then made me four turkeyburgers for tonight and tomorrow's dinner. Earlier today I made a sandwich with turkey, egg whites, ketchup, and cheese. It was amazing. I've got mad cooking skills.
