Yeah..I just saw that username thing post on my page...wondering if that app they are working on is making my page slow since last night...

Anyways...I just got my page about a month ago...and I had my aunts (who are in their 60s and 70s) send me friend requests... That's what is great about facebook....it's for every age (kinda like Disney)

No, they are making whatever name you use a part of the URL to make the URL recognizable to people you want to share the link with.

I know, it's confusing but if you read the link they provide, it will make sense. When I saw the alert I was like .

Facebook is where the adults go to play

I haven't decided if I'm going to switch out my real name for a username, but i don't think it matters really. There's lots of fun stuff like farms and flairs which some of us use in our sigs(see below). And it is a great way to keep up with family who are scattered through the the country. Or in my case, mostly the east coast.

Now myspace on the other hand, is not my thing at all.
