Yay! Diver at Coral Reef

I´m so excited!!!
Just got an email from our wonderful agent at Dreams Unlimited saying that we have a diver (they are always just requests and never guaranteed)for DS´s 14th birthday at Coral Reef in November. I´m going to send Debbi at the Coral Reef an email with pictures and a quotation to be used on the personalized menu.

Now, can anyone tell me whether it is common for Disney not to be able to honour the request upon arrival? I mean, once the process is started with Debbi, don´t you think we´re pretty likely to get the diver?

I am pretty sure you will get the diver. I requested mine less than a month ahead and I got it. We had great seats right in front of the tank too. I surprised my dh with a happy 10th anniversary. It was great. The kids knew but he did not have a clue.

I've been a member of this board for less than a day and I've already started finding wonderful, useful information-- a diver @ coral reef being one. I had never heard of that until today. We already had the dinner booked so I called Debi this morning & got an email from her tonight. WOW! Thanks to the boards and Disney!!

I heard from Debbie today. going in July and sent my pics in one at a time. This is wht she requested. Sent 5 pics and a few short messages with them. So excited. Only one of 5 knows about it. DD who is celebrating 3rd anniversary chose picture of her and DH with a message. Called DH and asked for a message from him to go with a picture of the two of them for their anniversary. Would not tell him why! He did give me a message (so darling) and sent it with to surprise DD.

I have left 2 messages for Debbie & not gotten a response back yet. 1st on May 12 & 2nd on May 27. Apparently she was away the week I called the 2nd time. I guess I'm going to have to try a third time.

Debbi perfers that her email address not be given out over the boards -- she likes to be called first. Give her a call and if she doesn't answer leave a message with your number and email address. You'll most likely hear back from her shortly and she'll let you know the best way to contact her from there.

Since this is a free service after all it's probably best to go about setting it up in the way that she prefers.
