Yavn's Quest - Is it? Isn't it?

Okay - so after waiting in the queue for about an hour and a half - I am in the room. The machine is off - 15 of us are confused - and the room has three mickeys.

I know so of you were doing this quest. Did the time end? Is it over? Is it a fluke and I should hang out?

Or did I simply miss it due to long lines - again?

Thanks for anything you know.

I too waited in the queue for(ever)! Noticed the quest machine was not on when I got in there, nor was Yavn there.

Think I know why though (guessing). When I called up the quest, positions 3 - 5 were running 8 to 10 minutes to complete the quest. But position 1 and 2 were both 2 minutes or less.

Yavn has made it clear in the past, as well as part of this quest too, that if any spoilers, cheats or help of any kind were to be used, he would shut the quest down. Well... to me those under 2 minute completion times would be a sure sign of someone that got some help somehow.

So it looked to me like he did as he said - shut it down. No point to his hanging around once he did that.

How sad that people still feel the need to cheat that way. First time I ever got in the queue for his quest too. Grr!

I would honestly love to try Yavn's quest, but won't waste my time anymore. There are far too many cheaters winning the quests. I rarely play any staff quests. I'll just stick to the guest quests with their cheapie poster and pin prizes. At least the cheaters stay away from these. Sad, but true.

Hi,
I did Yavn's quest yesterday. I was one of the few lucky ones that saw it right away.
When i started the quest the time on it was only a 30 minute quest that is it. I think he wanted to try a short quick quest to see how it went. This would help cut back on cheaters. It even stated to not start the quest if there was no time to finish it.
I had a time of I think around 14 minutes i am not quite sure as it was all a blur.
It was only 16 questions that had to do with fantsyland in DLR. I even had to use google once to help me on a question. I do not consider that cheating as i am the one loosing time doing a search for help.
I was a lucky one and came in 7th place and I won fireworks magic. Not bad for the time I had.
I do beleive that Yavn did not close the quest. One of my boys here dc while doing it. When he got back on it had kicked him off the quest. He got back into Yavn's room and there was only 3 minutes left on the quest time and that was about 25 minutes after it started. Not enough time to even try to start over. So this was a very short lucky if you found it quest.
