Yankee candles at Kohl's- some are 80% off

I was at Kohl's this morning and a few of the Simply Home Yankee Candle fragrances were on clearance.

The fragrances were:

I bought many for myself and a few extra for teacher x-mas gifts!

The only time i miss working at Yankee Candle is when I go to purchase the candles- I miss my 50% discount! That was the best employee discount I've ever gotten anywhere.

Yankee Candle was a great job. I was the first & only employee hired to open our store, other than my manager- it was just me & her & a bunch of employees from surrounding stores. It was fun. I eventually worked up to be a 2nd Assistant Manager. I loved it except my manager wasn't the best & it just became harder to work for her with time. I would go back seasonally, but the only Yankee Candle near me is that one & I think she's still there. Thanks for the offer though.

Sorry you're not in our area Miss Met! I'm a 2nd Assistant (part time) and we currently need a FT Asst. Manager, another PT 2nd Asst. and many PT seasonal employees. Our store is super busy, but always fun. I love everyone that works there, so that makes a huge difference. You know how busy Yankee is around the holidays, and it's begun already!

I have about 20 items in my shopping cart, but S&H right now is $6.95 plus $1.50 for each item - whoa I'm up to almost $40 S&H which I refuse to pay. They often run free S&H for orders over $75, but if I wait til then I'm guessing most of my items will not be available.

THANKS! It let me apply it to my shopping basket - BUT - all 16 items were NO LONGER AVAILABLE when I went to place my order! Yikes! They were all clearance items, and still show as available on the site. Bummer. I was really looking forward to all those things! Thanks anyway for the code, maybe I can use it later.

Get a PT job at Kohl's for the holidays!!!! You get a great discount (20% on hardlines, jewelry and sport shoes, 35% on softlines and family shoes).....the discount is on EVERYTHING they sell except Gift Cards. You get your discount on regular, sale and CLEARANCE. I worked there for 5 years and the discount was great, especially on clearance.

I went in today to see if I could pick up some candles as xmas gifts (my mom LOVES these).

Nothing was marked as clearance so I went to scanning everything at the scanner a few aisles down... I think the people working there thought I was nuts

I just picked up the scents I would consider buying. I found ONE that was on sale for $2.99! It was the pound cake scent (vanilla essentially). It smells really good but I was disappointed there was only one! The vanilla extract scent wasn't advertised on the shelf, but it was 25% off (not a good enough deal for me yet).
