Yankee candle tart question

I have some Yankee Candle tarts that I have been using, but the scent doesn't really seem to last very long. The package says 8 hours of scent per tart. So how long do you melt yours at a time? Do you use one tart a day? or break up the time into multiple days? and how long each day? The budget minded part of me only uses it a few hours a day, but the whole house smells really good when I leave it burning all day long.

Some scents definitely smell stronger in my house than others. I don't think I've ever burnt one for eight hours. Maybe four or five occasionally but I'm just guessing. I change it when I notice the scent is too weak to be appealing anymore. I think they're actually good for more than eight hours. I'm looking forward to their After Christmas sale which might happen before Christmas if I remember right. Great buys on accessories and candles too. :thumbsup2
