This is the coolest Yankee candle ever. I try not to buy too many, but was attracted to this last month at Linens and Things (as opposed to the fragrance of the month, Macintosh Apple, which was on sale). Every time I burn it I get compliments. My DH loves it. It's real "fall" ish with apples and cinammon.

Mom's apple pie is actually a re-incarnation of warm apple crisp :) It's been one of my favorites for a long time :bounce:

Mom's Apple Pie is a nice one...but right now I'm hooked on Pumpkin Pie!

Has anyone tried Autumn Lodge yet? I'm wondering if it's anything like Fireside.

I just did a shopping at my local YC store and somehow missed this scent. Grrr....why do YC's have to be so darn addicting? :teeth:

Hmm, sounds good.

But right now I am into buying soy candles from the wonderful state of Iowa.

Can't remember the website right now to order from.

Soy burns very clean.

Soy candles? Never heard of them! Do they smell as good as a Yankee Candle?

Hi,

Blondie, yes, soybean candles are very popular here in the midwest. We must support our local farmers!

The ones I buy are manufactured by the Beanpod Co. out of Iowa. They are available at our local mall candle store right next to the regular YC candle jars and are marketed in the much the same shape jars and scents as YC's. I really only buy soy candles now as I am so happy with them.

I wish I could find the website for more info.

Makes me hungry when I burn it

Soy candles burn much cleaner than Yankee Candles - no black soot! And they do not have the lead in the wick (at least my soy candles don't) so they are much healthier for you! I live 20 minutes from the flagship Yankee Candle store (it's HUGE) but still prefer the soy candles! Check out "Colrain Mountain Candle Works".

Sounds yummy. I may have to try! I just purchased pumpkin pie and carmel pecan. Now, if I just had time to stay home long enough to burn them!!

Oh, man! You guys are a bad influence:o ... I feel a trip to the mall coming!;)

i was trying to make up my mind which one to buy next, now i know...and my kitchen is apples...:wave2:

I saw it in the catalog. I can't wait to try all the new fragrances....:D

Hanna's Candles in Fayetteville, Arkansas makes soy candles (and non-soy also). Hanna's candles are very good quality and have great fragrances. They are sold in many specialty gift shops. They also make the candles that Valerie Parr Hill sells on QVC.

My all time favorite is probably still Macintosh by Yankee Candle even if it is not a soy candle. I have a green apple soy by Hanna's that is a close second.
