Yak & Yeti

We ate there for lunch in mid-June and really enjoyed our meals. We had the Wok Fried green beans for an appetizer, which was really good. Dh had the Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp. The shrimp was good but the steak was excellent. You could cut it with a butter knife it was sooo tender and flavorful. I had the Maple Tamarind Chicken which was also very tasty. My DS had the kids Lo Mein and he said it was better than our local Chinese restaurant. For dessert we had the Fried Wontons which were awesome! I was very hesistant after I read some not-so good reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. We would definately go back.

Love Love the Yak and Yeti...we stumbled upon it last August during tropical storm Faye for lunch....the food was yummy and the service was excellent...You have to order the fried wontons...it is a must for us again..I am leaving Wed!!!!!

We had dinner there, in June.

I can't remember specifically what everyone ordered, but I know we all enjoyed it!

I do remember that I got the cream cheese wontons for dessert. Yummy!

We ate at Y & Y at the end of July and loved it!!! We had planned on doing the CS, but it was rainy out and there were no covered tables so we instead did the TS.

The 3 of us shared the wok fried green beans - delicious!!!

I had the Shrimp Lo Mein, DH had the chicken Lo Mein and DD had the kids meal veggie lo mein which came with chicken fried rice. The portions were really big and I had a ton of shrimp in mine.

For dessert we shared the wontons - YUM!!

It was a bit expensive for lunch - came to $80 with tip (we weren't on the dining plan) but we really enjoyed it and will definately go back!

We ate there for the first time in July and we LOVED it. We hadn't tried it up to now because my DH is a VERY picky eater and he didn't think he would like it. He wants to go back there when we return in January. DH had the Lo Mein and I had the steak. Both were excellent. I had the wontons for dessert and he split the brownie sundae with DS. We'll be getting those again too!

My son had the duck and he said it was just ok. He loves the duck at Chefs de France.

I thought the duck was fabulous! Love, Love, Love me some duck!!! Wok-fried green beans, cream cheese dessert. It's ALL good!!!!:cool1::cool1:

we ate there last week of May 2009...really enjoyed it...click on my May dining review below for pictures of specific dishes at Yak & Yeti (no duck, sorry)

Just got an email from my sister who ate at Y&Y today and said she and her two kids LOVED it. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this bc from the podcast and others, I've only heard that it was bad-expensive, bad Chinese food. I'm curious to get details from her.

So one yes, one so-so for the duck.

When I first read the menu for Yak & Yeti it sounded like P.F. Chang's restaurant chain. Can anyone compare the two?
