I have a few questions.

1. What are prawn flavored crisps? I've seen pictures of them and I swear they look like fried pig skins with no color. What do they taste like?

2. What is your favorite appetizer at Yak & Yeti?

3. How are the ribs?

Prawn flavoured crisps are what we call prawn crackers here in the UK. They are a light crunchy snack with a very slight taste of prawns (some places they are stronger-tasting than others). Texture-wise, I can't really compare them to anything in the US as I haven't really had anything like it there but, if you've ever had crispy noodles, they are similar to those but with more flavour.

I've tried two of their apps -- the pot stickers and the fried green beans. The pot stickers were good. The friend green beans I ordered on recommendation by our waiter, because it was just DD & I, we were on DxDP, and he said they don't have kid's apps, so they get to order off the adult's app menu.

My DD would not eat the green beans. However...I couldn't keep my hands off them. I actually traded my pot stickers for her green beans... Yum!

The texture of the prawn chips were like pig skins but honestly they had no flavor. Unless you used the dip, it reminded me of eating air or rice cakes.

Our other appetizer was the pork egg rolls and I would say they were average to any egg rolls.

I really wanted to try the green beans but couldn't convince anyone to share them with me. Next time!

The ribs are fantastic, super tender, not fatty and full of flavor
