Yak & Yeti reservation dilemma

My wife and I have an ADR for two at noon on June 3.
Now, our 12 year old son is going to be with us. I checked for availability for ressies for three and none are available. Should I cancel the ressie and hope for luck walking up? Can I keep the ressie and hope they can accommodate three?

because it is owned by same company as Rainforest Café I would join their members club sorry I forget the name costs $25.00 but you get a gift card of that amount to use and you can walk up and be seated as soon as possible. I would cancel what you have now. also not sure if this holds for Yak but check the Rainforest website and see if there is a phone number to call directly

Landry's. This holds for Y&Y.

Y&Y don't release most of their slots to Disney ADRs. If you are a Landry's Club member and walk up, you will be seated before any Disney ADR.

So....no ADR needed at any time for Yak and Yeti or Rainforest?

Instead of trying to edit your reservation yourself online, try calling directly to see if they can make the adjustment. I'm sure talking to a real person will be more helpful. I've done this before and it worked out ok.

Yup. Just show your card and you'll get priority seating ahead of people with ADR's. Love the Landry's Card!

We just got back yesterday - twice we had to add an additional person. We tried calling a few times. One was for La Hacienda and the other one was for Beaches and Cream. Show up a few minutes early and let them know. Most of the time, for one person - no problem.

From what I've read, you don't need a reservation at all if you have the card.

We typically do both just to be on the safe side. They release very few reservations through Disney so we typically call a few days before and make a reservation directly through the restaurant. Then if you show your card at check in we've found we're typically seated before all the other people waiting in the lobby

Quick question regarding the card. I know you get $25 to use during your bday month so I've read people saying to just put whatever month you're traveling as your bday. Do they ask for your ID though to use your bday rewards?

I would ditch the ADR you made through Disney. Why, possibly, be on the hook for a no-show fee if you don't have to be? If it makes you feel better, call the restaurant directly and make a reservation, but you really don't need one with the card.
