Yak & Yeti (QS) vs Restaurantasaurous - Which would you choose?

I was set on Yak & Yeti for lunch but then I saw some good things about Restaurantasaurous. It's also apparently a great deal on the QS Dining Plan, so now I'm torn. There are a few kids traveling with us, but they're not picky eaters. I haven't been to either, so any advice is appreciated!

Also, it looked like there are ADR for Restaurantasaurous even though it's QS. Am I reading that correctly?

Only the ADR dinner may make Restaurantosarus a good DDP value.https://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/r...own-sundaes-dinner-at-disneys-animal-kingdom/
Otherwise, it’s mostly a typical Disney indoor (A/C) QS with burgers with the added advantage of a toppings bar and self serve drink refills.

Most would say Y&Y QS food is better, but has outdoor seating.
Personally, my family would choose Restaurantosarus, (but that’s due to seafood allergies limiting the Y&Y menu.). For better food, my fairly plain eating family actually really liked Satu’li, and also likes Flametree.

We chose restaurantasaurus for our upcoming Nov trip but mainly because my son is in a dinosaur phase and will love the atmosphere. We booked the burgers and sundaes dinner.

It really comes down to what type of food you want as the menus are totally different.
If you are looking for typical burgers, etc, Restaurantosarus is a good choice. The theme inside is done well.
If you want more Asian inspired, Yak and Yeti does it well.
Personally, for QS we do either Satu'Li or Flametree and sit by the lake to eat.

If you choose to go with Y&Y, I would add that if seating is an issue (and it's true that during peak hours at lunch, it can be hard to get a decent table at Y&Y), you can always get your food at Y&Y and take it with you to eat it in the beautiful outdoor seating of Flame Tree BBQ.

I love Y&Y QS. I crave their chicken fried rice and egg rolls almost constantly, so that's my recommendation.

We tried YUK & Yeti 2 weeks ago and it was average to lower end food, typical of Laundry's, the noodle dish was luke warm with little to no flavor, the Dim Sum Basket was terrible, chewy and just gross, the burger was a soggy backyard experiment gone wrong, there are better options for a decent meal which YUK & Yeti was not.....

Thanks everyone! Flame Tree is definitely on our list, just for another day. I think we will give the ADR for Restaurantasaurous a try for this day.

Restaurantasaurus was a highlight of our trip in August! (who ever thought someone would say that lol) It was just an unexpected win as far as Disney eating goes for us. Good burgers and fries, and sundaes! I'd recommend giving it a try.

We had 11AM ADR at Yak and Yeti last week - which is when it opened - arrived in time to wait inside in the A/C. Got there maybe 15 minutes early? The waiting room was FULL of people by the time 11AM rolled around. We were called and seated quickly in the blessed cool air. There were a few tables around us that were never filled while we were there!

Food was really good! Much had a pretty good kick to it, but so good we ate it anyway. Did send back my first drink - was supposed to be a strawberry daiquiri and it was cold and wet with no flavor - it was really weird. No strawberry - nothing! The Yak Attack was MUCH better!

Yak & Yeti is a chain. I always opt for the unique that you can't get everywhere.

I don't eat there because I try to avoid chain restaurants. It's a chain restaurant, we have 4 of them in Denver alone.

The Landry's Yak & Yeti restaurant in Animal Kingdom does not appear to be related to the Denver-area restaurants of the same name.
