Yak & Yeti or Tusker House

We will be at AK on our last day and need to use our last table meal for DDP for lunch. Which is better, Yak & Yeti or Tusker House? We haven't eaten at either.

They are so different.


One is a buffet, the other full service. I personally like YY food better, but with little kids, I would go for Tusker house. More choices. Both atmospheres are unique and fun.

I am generally surprised at how good Tusker House is, and generally suprised at how not-so-good Yak & Yeti is. YMMV.

Have not done Tusker House (we stick to Crystal Palace and Cape May for our buffets). We went to Yak & Yeti in 2008 and it was our second favorite meal of our trip -- we loved it (and I'm not a big fan of that type of food and thought it was very good; I had the sweet and sour pork and DH had the duck and raved about it).
