Yak Yeti or Crystal Palace buffet?

I am having a hard time trying to decide on one more DDP table service, can anyone comment on either one of these places and tell me which they would choose? Thanks so much!

We have done both (Y&Y review in my June link and CP in my Aug link) and I prefer the entrees at Y&Y to CP....plus it is alot quieter and more relaxing

Completely different places. If you are looking for a relaxing meal with great food definitely Yak and Yeti. If you are looking for a buffet IMO bad food go with CP.

Wow, two really different choices, two completely different parks.
I would go with the restaurant in the park you are visiting for the day.

We have eaten at Yak and Yeti several times and we really enjoy it.
Crytal Palace, we have eaten many times, for breakfast..it is always great.

I agree two different places, different food. I would say it depends on if you have kids or not. It might be worth it for the kids if you eat at crystal palace.

I would also say it has to do with travel time. I know for us (as an example) we are at ASmovies without Park HOppers. So we would need to stay at whichever park we are at. And time is an issue since we are (i think) the furthest resort to travel to MK. Hence why we have res for CP CRT and LTT the day we are at MK. lol We are gonna be so full!!
Honestly, haven't been to DW yet, but have read a lot. If you have little ones I would say absolutely CP hands down. It is buffet, the food might not be extravagant, but Im a buffet person all the way! Esp with a family of 4 to please!
However, Yak and Yeti's was a consideration for me. The menu looks delicious! A lot of rice and asian inspired dishes it seemed. Which my hubby just isn't into (unfortunately since I love it!). It is a quieter setting so the kids (if there are some in the equation) might get bored. But I can't answer that really... but there isn't really any entertainment there. BUT if you are in AK already, definitely an easy choice to make! Just stay where you are. For AK we have chosen the buffet lunch (no characters) at Tusker House. I hear that the buffet is delicious and huge!

I guess it would depend on which park you are planning on being in. The reviews for Yak & Yeti seem to be getting better all the time - I would love to try it someday! Crystal Palace for dinner is a must-do for our family. The food on the buffet is always delicious and the charactors are really cute too. I agree with everyone who says they are 2 very different restaurants. Flip a coin!!
