Yak & Yeti / Landry's Question

The only time we eat at a Landry's restaurant is when at Disney and are never there around my birthday. DS birthday is in May, but not sure if an under 18 could sign up?

Unless something has changed the quick service is not a Landry’s restaurant. It just stupidly (in my opinion) has the same name.

I'm considering signing up for Landry's for the purpose of using it during our trip as we don't have any local Landry's restaurants. How long do you have to use your welcome birthday rewards? Our trip is November first. My husband's birthday is 10/29. Should I wait to join in October? Will his reward expire 10/31? Thank you!

Went to Yak&Yeti yesterday and I was only able to use 1 of my rewards ..but we were a party of 10 that showed up with no ADR and they sat us within 10 minutes .. when we left the people we had been waiting with outside were just being seated!

I tried to use my Welcome $25 and my Birthday $25 at the same time this past March and was denied. Said they couldn't be combined. What's worse is they HAD to deduct the Welcome credit FIRST, so that left me with 4 days to use my Birthday credit, which I couldn't. I felt somewhat dismayed and misled by Landrys. Very disappointed.

I’m sorry that you were disappointed, but if you used the welcome reward, you didn’t lose anything and you will get the $25 Bday reward again next year.

If I were you, I would have hit the Rainforest Safari Bar on my way out and ordered a round of drinks to use up the Bday reward.

The Bday reward is good for the entire month of the Bday you give them plus the first 15 days of the following month.

So if your DH’s Bday is 10/29, his reward can be used from 10/1 through 11/15.

Does anyone know if you can use your reward at the quick service location?

In the Landry's FAQ's it states that "the Yak & Yeti Quick Serve location is not included in the program". Wish it was!

Landry's card - 100% worth it.
I've read multiple times that you can't combine your welcome reward and birthday reward. Perhaps you can split the check, or come back on a different day, or perhaps use it in the Yak and Yeti, Rainforest Café, or T-Rex gift shop?

The VIP priority seating alone is worth the price of the card. The card doesn't expire. Plus you get an annual birthday reward of $25.

I agree, the VIP priority seating is the reason we signed up for the card. With the way the FOP lines are the timing of our being able to make our ADR for Yak & Yeti was a small window. We don't have a Landry's location near us in Tallahassee BUT the VIP seating will help if we ever go to one when we travel.
