I have heard that you can see the Parade from Yak & Yeti restaurant. Has anyone done this? And where is the best place to request a table?
Thanks Dad of 3

You know the times we have been to Animal Kingdom we have never stayed for the parade. We always get the heck out of dodge so we don't have to fight the crowds. This year we are going to be eating at Yak and Yeti around 3-4 so we may get to see the parade.

bump.
Still looking for someone who has seen the parade from the Yak and Yeti. Thanks,

Lacking a definitive response, why not just ask to be seated where you can view the parade? Keep in mind, too, that as both a table service and counter service location, the parade (if viewable) might be visible only from the take-your-chance-at-a-table counter service side.

We ate at Yak & Yeti this past November and I don't remember there being many windows???? Maybe at the very front, but I honestly don't think there were any. I'm thinking you would have to be sitting outside with CS to watch the parade. Maybe someone on here that's actually tried to or has done so will post. :goodvibes

I made our ADR for 5 pm so I figure after the parade we walk over for dinner. Would you try to move your time? Good luck.

Hi
Since I put up this thread, I should tell of my experience. Last Wednesday, we had an early dinner at Yak & Yetis and requested a table by the window. We were seated by a window on the lower floor as all tables were taken by the windows on the upper floor. We had a very nice dinner. There was no complaints from any of our family members. We enjoyed the many choices on the menu, which becoming less common as we found many Disney restaurants have limited the selection on their menus. Two of my sons ordered the Dim Sum appetizer as entrees. Around 4:30PM, we noticed the parade coming by. Although there were people standing along the road, the floats are tall and there is a gap that the CM were keeping open to allow people to pass across. We saw a lot of the parade, but you can not hear any of the parade. Any sound that might have made through the windows was absorbed by the noise of the restaurant. Nevertheless we enjoyed the spectacle. I did not go upstairs, where I imagined the view would be better from those windows.

This is excellent information... thank you very much.
Maybe we will try for an upper level table when we go?
