Yak& Yeti after park hours?

I have an ADR for Yak&Yeti for 5:45pm. Now that they have changed my park hours to close at 5pm that evening, what happens to my reservation?

I would think they would have called me if I "lost" my reservation so I am assuming I can still show up.

Of course with it being during free dining, there is not much left available!

No - I made the ADR when AK was open until 7pm. Now it has changed to close at 5pm.

I would call the dining line and double check. I know in october we had a reservation at Yak & Yeti as the park was closing. We checked in 15 mintues early and right after we did they closed the doors so we were the last family to check in that night.

The same thing happened to us. We have an ADR for 5:20 on a night the park closes at 5:00 no EMH. We haven't really looked into it because we are thinking of just skipping it now. We are also doing free dining and had booked one meal more than our dining credits allowed. Of course, we were just going to pay oop for a breakfast. Now, I think we might just skip it and get counterservice at DHS as we had planned to leave AK and go to DHS to see Fantasmic that night.

In fact, I'm a little annoyed at the change in hours as it interfered with our dining on two days. The ADR I mentioend above...also we had planned to go to P.M. EMH at AK on another night with EMR, AK was scheduled to be open until 10. We made an ADR at Boma for 6:15 and planned to go to AK after eating at Boma. Now the park is only open until 8. Of course, we can't get an earlier or later ADR at Boma so we will likely miss out the P.M. EMH.

This happened to us last year. They changed the hours and I was holding an ADR for after park hours. I thought it was odd. On the day in questioning I stopped by to see if it could be fixed. I was not the only one on the list! The CM at the poddium said my ADR time would be honored but asked if I could arrive a little earlier, like before park closing time. We went about 10 minutes before park closing, sat right down, enjoyed our meal with a few other diners and then walked out to a very deserted Animal Kingdom. It was kind of weird and kind of really cool all at the same time. They had CM's set up at intersections with ropes to guide us out of the park. But we took our time and ended up with photo's with no one else in them. I even had a CM take our family photo in front of the Tree of Life.
