I am going to Disney in 13 days and I don't know a lot about Yak n' Yeti. I have heard that it serves a lot of Asian food, but are the kid's meals a lot Asian food too?

Dinner
Entree/Main Course
Kids Entrees - For ages 9 and under. A choice of a mini burger, chicken bites, vegetable lo mein, or an egg roll. All items served with choice of carrot sticks, applesauce cup, fruit punch gelatin or chicken fried rice. Add a kid-sized portion of milk or apple juice in a souvenir cup. Soft drinks or French fries available upon request. Ice cream sundae for dessert $1.49 extra. - $7.49

Beware, not a lot of food for the money. IMO for adults anyway. It is tasty though.

I thought the food was decently portioned. I had the ribs and was full after. Others had some chicken and some shrimp and couldn't finish it all. Not sure if it's changed since though. We went in the first few weeks it opened.

Our family tried this restaurant at Christmas and it is now on our 'must' list.
My husband and I each tried an appetizer, shared the ribs platter, THEN, my husband ordered the cream cheese wontons - AMAZING - poor guy, though, we were all 'too full' to get a dessert but we attacked his and the guy didn't have too much to himself.:lmao: :lmao:
My DH and I do like to eat and sharing the ribs platter, getting an appetizer (we shared the two appetizers among 4 of us) and sharing the dessert - we were STUFFED.
I apologize, I don't know anything about the kid's meals, but if your children like ribs, it would be worth splitting a platter, they were fantastic.

We ate at the Yak & Yeti with our 4 and 6 year olds in March and LOVED it!! The kids' menu is very american and similar to most kids' menus across Disney. Our favorite selection was the Dim Sum appetizer. That's really a meal in and of itself. If you're on the DxDDP, even this $12 appetizer is included. The entree's were plenty for adults, and especially with the large appetizer we were full. They have a yummy chocolate sundae kind of dessert that is YUMMY, and can feed the entire table.

Enjoy!! And have a wonderful trip!
Sally :)
