The majority of people seem to like it so I think it depends on the expectations and experiences with good Asian food.

I don't think that's quite fair. We do love (and have ample access to) high-quality Asian food in excellent restaurants -- both high-end and mom-and-pop establishments run by people born and raised in the countries whose cuisine they are serving.

We don't expect that a restaurant built for tourists at WDW is going to be on-par with fine Asian dining; that's not the majority of the market that a WDW establishment is trying to serve. We set our expectations based on the big picture and enjoy it (or not) based on the circumstances, not based on an ignorance of what *could* be.
 
I just received a phone call from the chef about our upcoming trip.... to assure us about my son's allergies (egg and peanut) and reviewed the dishes on the menu that are available and dishes he could prepare special for my son. I love Disney's customer service.....this was a follow up to my contacting Disney about the allergies.

And the food sounds delicious......
 
We've been three times and loved it each time. It's a must do for us now. To me it's like a better version of PF Changs if you've been to one of those...
