Yak and Yeti

Please Tell me a little about Yak and Yeti, trying to solidify this dining plan thing, and now that the rainforest cafe is out, was wondering about this one. Does anyone have a menu? Didn't see it listed on the stickey at the top! Thanks!!!

I have been to Yak and Yeti twice and didn't really care for it either time. The food is nothing to write home about. I would compare it to chinese takeout.

Some people seem to really like it though.

We actually loved the food!

To be honest, we were sure if the food was going to be good, but we wanted to try the new restaurant and see the decor. Although, we didn't have a great table for scenery, the food was great. I had the Shoaxing Steak and Shrimp and it was very good. My husband loved his Shrimp Noodles.

The only thing that we were not happy about was the service. It was somewhat lacking and hurried. And we were charged incorrectly which is probably due to the fact that they wrote the itemized bill and it was not always clear. So, best thing to do is do your own calculation and know exactly what the total should be. We will be more diligent about this on our next vacation.

I'm not much for posting negative reviews because everyone has a different opinion but we have eaten here twice and did not like it. Last week our son and his fiance tried it and also did not care for it. It really is just mediocre Chinese fare, we have local chains here that are much better.

Everything I got from here was great. I got the steak and shrimp meal and it was delicious. I got the potsticker appetizers and those were really good. My brownie sundae dessert was good, but I got it to go and only the brownie, so I can't really give a review on that.

We did it last august and it was great. I think it is definitely one of the better one credit restaurants. Oh, and the eggrolls are the best I've ever had!

Our family of seven ate there last week for the first time and really liked it. We got in with no ADR's, had excellent service, food was presented well, tasted great. I loved the lettuce cups for an appetizer, Pankow shrimp skewers, ribs (tasty and tender), and the cream cheese filled won ton skewers for dessert! Wow!! It was one of our favorite meals of the week. As pp says, everyone has a different opinion but our seven all liked it. Hope you like it as well as we did.
