Yak and Yeti- Yum!!!

Yes I noticed this, actually we ate at both Yak and Yeti and Saana and felt that the decor at Y&Y would have been a better fit if the food were from Saana. That being said the meal we had was acceptable. My crusted Mahi Mahi was flaky and crusty. The sauce it was served with was IMHO delish. DH got the combo lomein, and although it was good, it was missing a flavor, maybe a sweet or a spicy taste.

We will eat there again although the food at Saana was a million times better

Funny, we thought the same thing about the theming fitting Sanaa's menu better. And we loved Sanaa for the food and the atmosphere - it's DD6's new favorite, replacing 'Ohana.

I booked Yak & Yeti....completely from reading the reviews on here....but I have an early (11a) ressie? so I thought we would just eat appetizers...

(I had also read on here that the appetizers were better than the entree's)

So wonder if you folks agree with that about the appetizers...

I have to be honest. That is exactly what our meal consisted of. We ordered 3 apps for our meal. We ate at 11:30 am. It was extremely filling and wonderful. Here are the apps we had...

Add a couple of drinks and it worked out perfect!

We loved the Yak and Yeti too
After living in two Asian countries we love to get good Asian-inspired food and this place definitely hit the mark!

I don't remember exactly what we got- but we thought the pot stickers were pretty awesome.

I never felt the disconnect of theming and food. Most of the decor seemed to be an overall mixture of various Asian countries- with a mostly Thai or Nepalese feel for the most part, not so much Indian as suggested earlier.
