Yak and Yeti Vs Tusker House? Who Knows the Scoop?

We are trying to decide when we go to AK for the day in May which restaurant to go to for lunch. We like TS for lunch as it gives us the break we need. We ate at Yak and Yeti in December and it was just okay - we do not like RainForest and has never tried Tusker- For those that have been to both what do you think? For those who have been to Tusker what is it like?

I haven't been to Yak & Yeti yet but my family really enjoyed Tusker House for lunch in February. The buffet had a lot of great variety and my DD5 ate more here than at any other restaurant on our trip. I thought the dessert table was one of the best too!

We have not been to Y&Y either, but our lunch at TH was one of the best meals we ate all week. THe checkin process is a little rough because of those annoying drums outside that wouldn't be so annoying except you have to scream at the hostess over them! But once you are inside and past that- everything from the food, selection and service was really great. One thing I really liked was it was a break from the same old same old food you get throughout the parks. THis might not appeal to some- but I lvoed seeing Curry chicken, samoas, hummous and more. There are of course more traditional fares and the children's selections were good as well

i loved tusker house lunch!! so much choice of items on the buffet, and the salad bar and bread selection is awesome!
not heard the best reviews of yak and yeti but u will find something for everyone at TH
