Yak and Yeti For Dinner?

Sorry really really full of questions tonight. Animal kingdom closes so early - does Yak and Yeti do a dinner service? If so do you have trouble when leaving the park? I am confused?

The latest seating for Yak n Yeti is generally right at or a little after official park closing time. It is considering dinner, but the menu and prices are the same as they are at lunch time.

You will not be rushed through your meal. There's no trouble leaving the park...you just walk out. It's possible some areas could be roped off and none of the attractions will be letting anyone in line, but other than that it's the same as walking at any other time.

I had a closing time reservation for Yak & Yeti last year. We were never rushed, in fact, we had some of the best waitservice of our entire trip there. We even left a comment card praising our server. Leaving the park was fine. You pass loads of CMs, and they just make sure you don't backtrack into areas already closed. ^_~

I agree with the PP's.

We had ADR's at Yak & Yeti in November that were right at park closing. We had a great relaxed dinner with no rushing. After dinner, we took the long way out of the park, and turned it into almost a 45 minute walk.

We stopped and took pictures in several areas and enjoyed how different the scenery around the park was at night. There were CM's posted in various places to insure we couldn't backtrack or go into areas that were already closed - but they were all very friendly and some of them even volunteered to take a few pictures of us.

The only issue we ran into was that they had ceased regular bus service to all of the resorts, so we ended up on a bus that went to 3 other resorts before eventually making its way to ours.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening and we loved our walk through a nearly deserted AK under the starry moonlit sky.

this is just my opinion, but i would consider not even doing Yak and Yeti.

i went there in 2008 and it was terrible!
the food wasnt very good at all and the service was terrible. there just isnt anything special about it.
but...rain forest cafe is fantastic!

im sure you could get into RFC just as easily and it is way better.

just my opinion.
