Yak and Yeti: CS or TS

We always go to Flame Tree BBQ, but we were thinking of trying Yak and Yeti for lunch. Which do you prefer: CS or TS?

My husband and I tried the CS on our last trip and really didn't enjoy it at all. Judging from the pictures of most of the food and some reviews I've seen here, I don't think we'll be trying the table service option any time soon.

But that's just us. If the menu and pictures look good to you, I could say to try the table service I guess. I cannot recommend CS though.

We have done the CS once and the TS twice. None of us are impressed.

Yak n Yeti TS is the best restaurant at AK, although we have not yet done Rainforest Cafe outside AK, but others in DTD and Nashville. We like the TS as it serves as a nice break from the biggest theme park. Also, we enjoy the front window view upstairs.

We did TS in June this year for the first time and we all loved it. We will make this a must for our next trip.

My thoughts exactly! We've done the CS & TS and I highly suggest that you go elsewhere. I really don't like to seem so negative, but our experience at the TS was terrible (both times) & our CS was simply disgusting (& I'm not even talking about the gross hair that was in my food).

However, lunch at Tusker House was awesome & breakfast at Rainforest in AK is the best! And, I've had great experiences at all of AK's other CS places.

i personally like eating at the ts yak and yeti more than the cs. i wish they offered more of the ts items at cs. the counter service only has typical chinese foods, like shrimp lo mein, honey chicken, egg rolls, etc. the ts has way more options to choose from (not all chinese food).

TS is much better than CS.

TS without a doubt. Wouldn't say the CS is terrible, but it's boring. The menu has also been recently changed (egg rolls, shrimp lo mein and beef kung pao have been reportedly cut, and the mango pie has been gone for awhile)

I love Yak and Yeti TS but honestly to goodness that CS food is nasty as nasty can get!!! YUCK

Wow, shocked at the bad reviews. The TS is very good and it's an interesting menu. We've eaten at just about every signature in WDW and Yak and Yeti (especially for 1TS) is still one of our favorite restaurants.
