Thanks to everyone who have been so helpful with our driving guidance!! We were going to leave at 3am thurs-fri morning, BUT, we have become afraid of traffic, so we have decided to leave at 9am Thurs morning, drive until we feel like stopping, then go into Hilton Head on Friday, for our stay there!! This way, we miss traffic (3hrs to NYC then another 3 to DC) and enjoy our day at HHI on Friday!!
Have a great trip. DH came in last year and said let's drive to New Orleans the night before and then fly out....cool by me and fun to start early.
