The good news is our son's soccer team was accepted to the Disney soccer tournament Dec 27-30th. The bad news is, being certain they wouldn't get in, we booked SSR for the 18-24th. We know we'll have to stay on cash ressies the nights of the tournament, but was wondering how difficult it will be to extend SSL to include the 24th & 25 (and maybe the 26th).

Can anyone hazard a guess as to getting a room at SSL Christmas Eve & Christmas Day? It would have been nice to find out before close of business today to check ourselves, but those are the breaks.

Sorry, but with Christmas and New Year's being the busiest time at WDW, I don't think so. There have been waitlists in place for months, and most DVC sell out at the 11 month window.

I would suggest trying to make an alternate plan for accommodations. Good luck!

Well can you believe it? I got the 24th & 25th dates.
Christmas in Disney, who would've thought? Guess it's time to update my signature.

Oh..., and I should mention. The CM suggested I might want to buy a lottery ticket.
