Will have to call tonite and see what is available..anyone call recently and NOT get availability for certain resorts??

Yes the heat will be there! I would find out the dates that school goes back in Florida because it makes a big difference with crowds. We have been the last 3 summers in late Aug (during free dining) when school is in and the crowds have been very reasonable.

Yes my friend whom I travelling with this summer got it . We're now booked for a 1 night stay at the Polynesian resort along with our now 13 nights stay at the POR (bounceback)

How do you get on the lists for these special postcards and e-mails? No one knows exactly, and believe me, I've done a lot of research on it. It appears that Disney's marketing department uses a variety of lists at different times.

If you want to have the best possible chance of getting these mailings, it's definitely a good idea to register with Disney.com and be sure to click on the boxes that indicate you're interested in Walt Disney World. You might also want to go to DisneyWorld.com and request a vacation planning video. It also appears that they may use mailing lists from DisneyShopping.com, subscribers to Disney publications and Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders. In short, sign up for anything Disney (especially Disney World related) you can, and keep your fingers crossed!

The later you can go in august the better. I have been the very last week and the next year the 2nd last week (APs!) and I noticed a difference in crowds for sure. The last week in August was awesome for us. We hardly waited at all for anything. The 2nd last week was okay too but not as good.

Have fun! I called up yesterday to order the 2008 dvd so I'm hoping they'll send a code my way... but either way we'll get APs this year and that will be this year and next year taken care of so a code will be just a bonus.
