Yachtsman's vs. Le Cellier for 20th wedding aniversery dinner

Heading to WDW to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary with wife and my 14 and 17 yo on 12/27/2017. I am going to try to get a reservation at Le Cellier but if unavailable is the Yachtsman's just as good or better.

I wouldn't even consider Le Cellier over Yachtsman Steakhouse. I think YS is much better.

YS is much better and Le Cellier is just too crowded. They've added too many tables to too small a space. I really wish they would open a new restaurant in Canada in the empty buildings at the top of the pavilion and then convert Le Cellier to a wine and tapas kind of place.

I would go for Yachtsman Steakhouse. The tables are far too close together in Le Cellier and it seems so dark too. Plus the onion rolls at YS are to die for. Have you thought about California Grill at all to maybe see the fireworks?

YS is our favorite restaurant on property. Wonderful, upscale atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and outstanding food. Not sure if they still offer this but when celebrating a birthday dinner there several years ago, we noted it on the reservation and they had custom menus for us!

I'll put the objective vote in for Le Cellier being great food with YS slightly behind it. But, I know others have had different experiences (and I will note I tend to be at Le Cellier in slower periods which tends to help service and food quality).

Having said all of that, for an anniversary dinner, I would definitely recommend YS. As others have noted, Le Cellier can get pretty loud and busy given its size. Yachtsman tends to be a bit calmer. It also affords a lovely opportunity to walk the Boardwalk after, grabbing a glass of wine at Flying Fish or ice cream at Ample Hills (assuming room is left in the ol' stomach) - or even wander back into Epcot for a nice drink and Illuminations.

How about Monsieur Paul's? Excellent excellent food, small and "secret", very attentive staff.

Yachtsman gets my vote easily as well. Le Cellier is good, but Yachtsman is great. It's also a nicer/calmer environment for an Anniversary dinner.

Yatchtsman is clearly a better restaurant. I won't even eat at Le Cellier.

Another vote for Yachtsman. We have had some of our best WDW meals there and going back in October. Congrats on 20yrs btw!

Another vote for Yachtsman! Their filet is delicious.

We are giving Le Cellier another try this trip though. It's been awhile since we've eaten there.

Yachtsman for sure!!! Chose to try Le Cellier instead of going to our usual Yachtsman dinner on a previous trip and truly regretted it.

I agree with Yachtsman over Le Cellier-the food is miles better. Other than the poutine, Le Cellier has become no better than a lower end, chain type steakhouse, IMO.

I vote for anyplace over Yachtsman. Food tastes like it sat in 5 gallon bucket of salt for 3 days before eating.

I prefer Le Cellier, but admittedly I haven't been there in several years. I like the darker atmosphere, the food choices and Epcot.

Le Cellier is just plain common in my estimation. Its like eating at a mid range chain place.

Yachtsman is great. I prefer Shula's but they are available other places. MP and Bluezoo at also nearby and even though Bluezoo is seafood oriented, I've seen some amazing beef come out of their kitchen and its far more relaxing and upscale in atmosphere than Yachtsman, but man, their garlic is delicious.
