I have not heard much about this place and was wondering if it was any good.

We ate there in September and the meal was excellent along with the service. We are planning on going back there in May.

We were there in late October. It was very good. I put it in my review on the Review Board, if you want to see more details.

Was it good? yes

Was it great? No.

We did enjoy the meal when we went but both agreed that it really wasn't as good as Le Cellier and it cost 2 credits. If I had been paying OOP I would have been very disappointed at the value for the cost.

I've dined there 4 times now and every time food and service has been amazing!

We took my parent there for their anniversary during our trip in the spring. We really enjoyed it! The food was great as was the service, probably the best service we had the entire trip! We liked our steaks at Yachtsman quite a bit more than the ones we had at Le Cellier. If you like mushrooms be sure to get the side of mushrooms at Yachtsman's!

Please don't pass up a Disney restaurant because of a review or two. You'd never eat anywhere there. We really enjoyed our meal at the Yachtman Steakhouse. The garlic spread is not to be missed. The service was fantastic. Foodies tend to dis it but for us meat and potatoes people, it was great.

On the other hand, I did listen to all the wonderful reviews of the California Grill and we weren't all that impressed with it. You have to form your own opinions.

I had a good meal there - but have just been once. I liked 2 other signature spots more than it, but it had a great steak and good service.

I loved it. The atmosphere is great, food, service all great. I also agree with disnut8. I did not like the Califonia Grill at all and heard nothing but great reviews. TRY them all on your taste buds. (or is that bucks.):rolleyes1

Kevin from the DIS Unplugged podcasts did a review in the past few weeks, and liked it.

We ate there for our anniversary and liked it, this past May.

We ate there a few years ago and had fantastic food and over the top service

Been there twice...first time was a disaster.... poor food and abysmal service. Second time was a little better but I can't say we'll ever eat there again.

There are much better restaurants than this on Disney and much better again on Sand Lake Rd.
