1) We had him twice.
2) The first time we thought it was a error, then we got him, again.
3) Oops.
4) We were treated like, "OK, older folks. No or little tip coming my way. They don't need attention."
5) And we got terrible service (and, we were not the only ones, as other tables in his "zone" had older folks).
. . . He didn't even explain the meat cuts available (a MAJOR part of the Waiter presentation!).
. . . He didn't talk about the daily specials or soup until we asked.
. . . He didn't come around, EVEN ONCE, to see how our meal was progressing.
. . . He stopped by the adjacent table 3-4 times during the meal to see how the YOUNGER COUPLE was doing.
. . . He, literally, ignored all three tables with older folks, and paid attention ONLY to the table with younger diners.
Hey that beats my LeCellier waiter who paid no attention to ANY of his tables. Age was not his discrimination factor, humans were LOL! The order taker (for lack of a better word, waiter and/or server both imply some service) took the order, threw the food on the table and showed back up a few minutes later and threw the check on the table as he ran by so fast no one could ask for anything. He then showed up, picked up the check folder and looked disgusted when he saw it wasn't paid. His "tip" reflected his "service" (I actually got a manager to remove the mandatory TIW tip. Manager didn't even try to defend him LOL!)
