hello, I want to do 1 signature and Im not sure which one to do? Im leaning towards Nacrosses (probably spelled wrong-oops) because of the lobster.

We also want to have a great steak dinner while at WDW....would you recommend Yachtsman or Le Celleir or somewhere else??

Thanx!

Well, Narccoossee's has a delicious Surf & Turf. The steak was the best I've ever had on Disney Property and the lobster tail was perfectly cooked. The lobster tail with the Surf & Turf was much better than the Whole Lobster we had a few days later. I also like that they'll substitute scallops instead of the lobster with the Surf & Turf if you'd like. The scallops are delicious too!

IMO Yachtsman is far better than LeCellier. I can take or leave LeCellier, but Yachtsman has become a must do for us.

Narcoossee's over Yachtsman. While I can't compare the food between the two restaurants, I can tell you that our experience at Narcoossee's was one of the best. It is our favorite restaurant at Disney (well, tied with the CG and Boma, to be completely honest). I ordered the surf and turf the last time we dined at Narcoossee's. Now, the lobster in the surf and turf wasn't the best, but I must note that I'm from NH and grew up on fresh Maine lobsters. :) I also had lower expectations about the lobster, because, well it's Disney and I wasn't looking for a lobster restaurant; furthermore, even with the best chefs, I'm not quite sure where they get their lobster from. However, I can vouch for the atmosphere between the two restaurants- Narcoosee's is AMAZING. The location on the water is beautiful, and being able to view the fireworks at the MK was great. I also like the classy New England feel that this restaurant gives off. While I'm sure Yachtsman is classy enough (I mean, the Yacht Club is quite stately by itself), I personally think that Narcoosee's has greater value- especially if you're paying through the DDP.

In terms of a steakhouse, Le Cellier is a great restaurant, but I think it's unfair to compare Le Cellier (1 TS credit) with Yachtsman (2 TS credits). Of course, I would hope that the steak at Yachstman is much better, as the economic value is much higher. We loved Le Cellier, but personally think it's not worth all the hype that it gets here on the boards. Sure, the food's great, but it's no different than many restaurants we've dined at at home. The atmosphere is cool (like a cellar), but the tables are really close together, it's not very romantic, and it's loud. However, for that restaurant to be 1 TS, the value is incomparable if you're comparing it to the other 1 TS restaurants around.

I agree wholeheartedly with Narcoossees over Yachtsman. IMHO both the food and atmosphere are far better. The view of the lake and MK is spectacular and if you time it right you can watch Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant from there or from the dock.

I've got to agree with everyone else and choose Narcoosee over Yachtsman. Our filet and lobster and filet and scallops were sooo good. Their almond cheesecake alone makes it worth the trip. That has to be my favorite dessert on property:lovestruc. I was not impressed at all with Yachtsman. It was not any better than many of the steak houses around here that we eat at on a regular basis. They did have a delicious seafood salad appetizer, but that was all I was impressed with.

I'm on the DxDDP for my Sept/Oct trip and will be eating at several 2 credit Signsture restaurants. Yatchsman is not one of them. The Flying Fish is also good by the way and has a very good steak.

Never been to Yachtsman but have been to NARCOOSSEE'S and loved it. :thumbsup2

We ate at both in March and I thought that Narcoossee's was much better. I had the surf and turf and thought the steak was far better than the one I had at Yachtsman.
