Yachtsman or Le Cellier?

For a good steak in a nice atmosphere, which would you suggest?

I'd go with the Yachtsman. In my opinion, Le Cellier isn't all that special. I know a lot of people seem to love it, but we don't particularly care for it.

We like LeCellier and have eaten there several times, but Yachtsman is on a very short list of places we go every single trip.

IMHO, the Yachtman's food is top notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is so nice. At LeCellier, the tables are too close together and the noise level is way too high for a nice steak meal.

I would go with the Yachtsman. Le Celiier can get very loud.

Never been to Yachtsman but we love LeCellier.

We've eaten at both, but believe it or not got our best steak at Flying Fish. Anyway, as all other have said, yachtsman is usually a little quieter, and DD got a cute paint your own cookie puzzle there. However, I found the salad so salty it really ruined my dinner. Le Cellier had the better non steak options - IMO

Of the two, I would pick LeCellier. However, I totally have to agree with Rpsemont...The Flying Fish is outstanding! It is our favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World. I always get an incredible steak and my husband goes for the salmon. You can sit at a counter area in front of the chefs and watch them prepare the foodm that is really cool!

We really like both but if I had to choose I would pick the Yachtsman.

I think I would pick LeCellier...but it only wins by a tinsy tiny margin. Can't go wrong with either.

We have eaten at both. While we liked Le Cellier, Yachtsman was amazing. I dont think I could go back to Le Cellier now, after eating at YSH.

I have been to both and we did not like the Yatchsmen at all. The steak was not that good and we did not care for the atmosphere at all. We absolutley loved Le Celier. JMO

Thanks everyone! You've convinced me to give Yachtsman Steak House a try. I've been to Le Cellier several times and I needed this nudge to go with something different.

I also believe the Flying Fish is the best restaurant at WDW but we also love LeCellier and haven't had dinner at the Yachtsman.

LeCellier is great, but we've had simply marvelous meals at Yachtsman -- much more variety on the menu, and better atmosphere.

ds13 who could eat steak at every meal and has sampled many over the years at WDW swears that FF has the best steak with YSH coming in a close 2nd
