Yachtsman, captain's grill, Le Cellier?

Yachtsman is signature dining, but IMHO the best of your 3 choices. if you are one the dining plan it's 2 credits

Le Cellier is signature in the evening as well.I don't think it's as good as Yachtsman

Captains Grille is a nicerestaurant, good food and great service but not as fancy as yachtsman.

Yachtsman is the choice for me but I would consider Shula's since you are staying at the BC, it has the best steak at the World.

yachtsman and captain's grille are both must do's for us on each trip.... it's hard to decide---but---yachtsman is amazing and if i HAD to choose, i'd go there. if you can fit both... you won't be disappointed!!! captain's grille's crab cake is the best i've ever had!!

Have never eaten at Captains.

Yachtmen's is good, but we loved Le Cellier. And to be honest, one notch above Le Cellier...California Grill. That was an amazing meal.

Yachtsman above the other two options for a steak, by far.

If you're not on the dining plan, Shula's is a short walk away and serves the best steak you'll be able to access on property.

I can't speak for Captain's Grill, but between Yachtsman and Le Cellier, Yachtsman is so much better, IMO :).

Definitely Yachtsman Steakhouse. Good food as well as atmosphere.

Again like another poster, cannot comment on Captain's Grille, but last week ate at both Yachtsman and Le Cellier, and Yachtsman was so much better than Le Cellier. Le Cellier was good, but not worthy of 2 credits compared to Yachtsman, IMHO. I do think Le Cellier has the edge in atmosphere though.

Definitely Yachtsman. Both the steaks and overall experience is better than Le Cellier. we've only been to Captain's Grille for lunch. We enjoyed it, but it's not in the same category. Someday we may try it for a casual dinner.

This would have been my response, too. If you're on the dining plan, I'd say Yachtsman. If not, Shula's.

I've actually been to Le Cellier since the menu change, and I liked it way more than before. That would be my choice.

I've never been wowed by Yachtsman. We're giving it another chance in a month.

To the OP. It really depends if you are on the dining plan or going OOP. If you are off the dining plan then I would recommend Shula's; this is IMHO the best place to get a steak at WDW.

If you are on the dining plan then it comes down to if you want to use 2ts on a steak. If you do then I would have to recommend Yachtsman over Le Cellier. I will admit I have not been there (LC) since it's gone signature, but if your ordering a steak and not one of the new offerings on LC's menu, I say pass. Also, I personally would not have any desire to eat at Le Cellier for lunch and feel bogged down with a whole day ahead still in the parks. However, if you don't mind then Le Cellier may be an option for you at lunch.

With all that said; if you are on the ddp and only want to use a 1ts I would recommend the Captains Grill. This place was one of the most surprisingly pleasant discoveries of mine in WDW. The steak at Captains Grill was very good. Another option you didn't ask about but I'll throw out at you is Coral Reef. From your resort it is easy to get to and IMHO also offers a good steak.

To be frank, Le Cellier sucks. So over rated. Dont go there. I'd recommend Yachtsman as well.
I thought so too about Le Cellier, but now I really like the new menu. People shouldn't judge what they haven't tried.

I've been to Yachtsman. Not great at all. So overrated.

Although in the minority here on the DIS, we do not like Yachtsman at all. It is one of only 2 restaurants in all of WDW that we won't go back to.
We've been 3 times and just did not enjoy the food. It was over sauced and over spiced for us. And we are not picky eaters and enjoy varied cusine - for example we enjoy Restaurant Marrakesh etc very much. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was great, we just didn't enjoy our meals.
We like, not love, Le Cellier. We would return.
I have not tried Captains Grille.
Flying Fish at the Boardwalk also has a nice steak, but the atmosphere is a bit noisy.
Enjoy

Of the 3, Yachtsman is far and away the best.
But as has been noted, Shula's is even better.

Cali Grill is PHENOMENAL. I have ADR's at LC and Yachtsman so i can compare the 2 when i go in in a couple of weeks
