Yachtmans Steakhouse - can you easily walk from Epcot to the Yacht Club Resort to dine here?

From the International Gateway, it is a very short walk (5 - 10 minutes, depending upon your walking speed).

you can catch the boat that is just outside the international gateway...it is just to the left after you exit the turnstiles...just be aware that while it is nice to take the boat ride, it will take longer on the boat then it would to just walk...

Thanks everyone!! Just trying to make DH birthday one to remember and he is a STEAK lover. We tried LeCellier last time and loved it, but this time thought I would try YSH.

You will love it......................One of the best restaurants I have been to.........We never tried the Yachtsman, simply because we really didn't know much about it.............and on our last trip, since DVC members get 10% off at the Yachtsman, we decided to try it.........

FABULOUS.................Would go back in a minute.......

We eat at YSH every trip! The service is wonderful and the food absolutely yummy. I can't reccomend it enough.

YSH was our anniversary dinner last year. DW(a dedicated carnivore) said her steak was one of the 5 best she ever had.
We also recommend the dessert sampler. I would rate that among the best 2 or 3 desserts I've ever had

As everyone has said...easy, nice walk. Just wanted to say prepare yourself for a hefty price tag. I normally don't care what anything costs, especially on vacation, but a $42 steak (if I remember correctly) was beyond comprehension to me. I think I'd want the matching handbag for that price! Otherwise, I've heard wonderful things and I'm sure you'll have a nice dinner.

Thanks for this thread! We plan to eat there for the first time on our anniversry this summer. I wasnt too sure thats what I wanted, but all these great reviews are making me feel better about my choice.

Just wanted to add that if you do take the boat, it goes over to the Boardwalk before it goes to Y&BC.

DVCTiff: We have the silver plan, so prices dont concern me this trip. But thanks for the tip and the laugh!!

I also enjoy all the great reviews, I now know I made the right decision in choosing YSH. DH would love to stay at one of the Epcot Resorts so this will be a nice surprise to walk over to have dinner.
