Just curious if anyone has stayed at both? Your opinions? We have always stayed at YC and loved it. This time I made the ressie at BC ... am now just wondering if there are any thoughts on one vs. the other?

Like you, we've always stayed at the YC, but I wouldn't hesitate to try the BC, especially now that the rooms have just been renovated and look so pretty.

We've stayed at both. I though the CL were just about the same. YC lobby is more quiet and calm than BC. BC rooms were just redone and look fabulous. Either way you can't go wrong.

I've done both and the differences have been small. YC CM's on Club Level were much more involved, got to know their "residents", were more helpful.

Both Club rooms are very small. YC seemed a bit larger. Both easily get full where it's hard to find an empty table.

I prefer BC over YC but that is mainly because I like the "feel" of the BC more.

Me! Me! We've stayed concierge in both! :)

August 2007 was our first ever experience in concierge.... at the YC. We've stayed at the YC/BC 8 times prior since 1994, but never concierge level.

August 2008 we were on the BC side in concierge....

The food is basically the same. Breakfast offerings are cold cereal, banana bread, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, milk....
Snacktime usually consists of fresh baked cookies, Smartfood popcorn, mixed nuts, pretzels, lemonade, Evian, soda, etc...
Dinner/appetizers changed each night but usually had hummus/veggies, a soup/chowder, small bbq ribs one night, cheese, etc...
Desserts at night were an array of delicate mini-pastries :) and of course alcohol.....

We found the BC concierge to be much more interactive with the kids :thumbsup2: The CM's in the concierge lounge were so great in getting chocolate milk for my 6 yr old addict who doesn't like any other morning beverage :rotfl: (They keep them in the fridge out back :thumbsup2 )

The CM's at the concierge desk at the BC were also very willing to show the pin book to my girls and were so friendly every time we returned to the the hotel esp. during Tropical Storm Fay!

The rooms are exactly like any standard room at the resort unless you spring for a deluxe one (which I've never seen :rotfl: :rotfl: myself )

Enjoy your trip!!!! :)

We just booked BC CL for Oct, would love to hear reviews

We have stayed both. In fact, when they remodeled the BC CL Lounge we were the inaugural family to open that lounge. Got photos taken with the "big whigs" then, cut the ribbon, and did all that stuff. Not sure where those photos went ... but it was really fun.

We like both of them. The YC tends to be more adult oriented in terms of those that reserve there. When a convention is there - that is where they put the convention big whigs they will comp, etc. The BC tends to have more kids at them. Loved staff at both. We started at YC when my son was around 8 and they were great when pin trading was really in. They even remembered us (or at least had notes) from year to year. The BC CL staff tends to be more kid oriented - my son was always an old soul - so we were good with YC. Food was good at both. Service was great at both. The YC rooms all have balconys - a plus for us. The BC rooms - some don't but I think all of CL does - just not sure.

To avoid any confusion and replies to outdated info given how CL offerings to change over time, closing this 12 year old thread.
