Yacht Club to Contemporary for a 7:30 a.m. breakfast

Quick question DISser's -

We have a 7:30 breakfast scheduled for next Tuesday at Chef Mickey's - my questions is whether busses and the monorail are running that early so we can get there in time!

Monorail should be running, usually starts about 7 I think. Take MK bus, and then you can either walk from the bus stop, up to the monorail or I would just walk from the bus stop to the CR.. Or if you dont want to mess with early AM buses, just take a cab from YC - CR and be done with it

Yep, they are. The buses start running to the MK at 6:30. So, be out at the MK bus stop by 6:45. This is what I do though....as I board the MK bus, I ask the bus driver which is quicker...walking or the monorail..to the CR. Usually the bus driver will offer to drop me off there on the way...if he can. It's almost as if the driver now feels like he has done something magical for a guest. Sometimes the driver won't be able to do that for you though...so plan accordingly. It is an 8 min walk from the bus to the CR. The buses don't run quite as frequently in the early morning as they do later on.

Depending on what time the MK opens that day the regular theme park buses may not be running that early.

There are early buses every day for all the breakfasts, tours, etc. that take place all around WDW before the parks open. The buses for the MK start around 6:15am - 6:30am. These buses do not run as often as the normal theme park buses so if you just miss one you will have a long wait. I suggest you be at your resort bus stop no later than 6:45am.

Assuming the bus drivers are not able to drop you off at the Contemporary the walkway from the Magic Kingdom takes about 10 minutes, although coming from the Magic Kingdom bus station it might be less since it's right by the walkway.
