Does the pool at yc have just one slide? Also, can anyone tell me what it is like to enter from the gateway to epcot?

I *think* there's only one slide at YC, but we don't use the pools, so can't say for sure.

The IG entrance is the same as any other, with bag checks and ticketed entrances. You'll enter near UK, turning left into WS. Up a hill and right turn to the bridge toward France, or straight ahead through UK and Canada.

If you enter before WS is open, you'll be directed along the UK/Canada route by CMs to FW.

There's technically two, across from the pool area there is a fake shipwreck that acts as a kiddie pool, both of the slides entrances are located here. One is for younger children and ends in the kiddie pool, and the other is a normal pool slide that ends in the normal pool area. I hope that all made sense

yes there are 2 slides...a "kiddie" slide maybe 5-7ft long into shallower water and a big tunneled slide from the mast of the shipwrecked pirate ship...LOVE IT !! also the pool has a lazy river, sand bottom section of pool, a "whirlpool" area where the water is forceably going aroung like a whirlpool in circles....tough to get out of..whips you aroung in a circle...fun !

nice walk over to the entrance...much slower gate, short lines if any, regular turnstiles and security check...nice to walk through before the world sides opens...very quiet walk to the front

I love entering and exiting Epcot from the International Gateway! It's a lovely walk by pretty landscape...with music playing in the shrubbery. At night the lights are low and it's a peaceful stroll back to your resort...or you can stroll around the Boardwalk. IMHO it's much nicer than the main entrance.

It's also a much easier exit after Illuminations. Still crowded, but not nearly like walking all the way through to the front gate.
