Yacht Club or Beach Club Club Levels?

We've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Club Level before and are now trying to decide on either Yacht or Beach Club Club Level. Which would you choose and why?

Thanks!

I've stayed at both club levels. The differences to me are negligible (in fact, I honestly can't think of any major differences). Beach Club is closer to Epcot. That's the main differences between the resorts, IMHO.

I've stayed at both and feel that the difference is pretty large.
WL CL is absolute heaven! :cloud9:
The food at WL CL is amazing....you did it, so you know! The variety is great. Meatballs, chili, chicken wings, scallops wrapped in bacon...mmmmmm
The CM's at WL CL are awesome. So friendly, above and beyond. When we stayed there, we would come back to our room with beers stocked in our fridge. The CL manager Randy went and wrapped up a bunch of cookies for our DD on our last day because he knew those were her favorite. :goodvibes
The lounge is spacious, with cool views. You can see EWP from there! :thumbsup2

Ok, and then YC CL...we had a great time, but you know, it's Disney!! But, the food was meh. Usually some fried puff pastry something or other unidentifiable. The CM's were pleasant, but not nearly as warm and inviting as at WL CL. The lounge is smaller, although nice. We loved the location of YC!

I don't think you will have a bad time at YC CL...it really is very nice. It's just not WL CL, if that makes sense. :goodvibes

Yc and BC club level are both nice. We liked the YC club a little better. It has a balcony (no view) to go outside and the sitting area seemed larger than the at the BC. The YC seemed to have fewer children - I don't know if that is a plus or minus for you, just an observation that may not hold true on other visits. We have only stayed at these CL's once each. We liked the layout for food better at the YC and somehow it seemed like the food offerings were just a little better or perhaps refilled more often.

As you can tell, the difference is not huge. I would stay at whichever of the two resorts that you like the theme better in.

BC is closer for walking to Epcot and The Boardwalk. YC has quicker access to the dock and boats.

Either way, you can't lose! These are our favourite Epcot resorts!

Have stayed both BC AND YC club levels. HUGE Differences. Here are my issuesL

1. BC GV CL there are 5 rooms. AT LEAST 3 of the 5 connect to another room, noisy! 1 of the 5 is handicapped accessible which is great if you need it, we did not and the water pressure was close to zero due to shower set up and vanity inside bathroom which made it tough getting ready with a family.

2. YC GV CL we loved. View is wedding gazebo or 1 room is front epcot entrance way.

3. CURRENT lounge no comparison. BC is a shoebox however it is being redone and enlarged beginning in January. So that can only help. It is SO tight.

4. Food same at both. And ok. Prefer BWI CL for food

5. FYI if you book BC CL GV you are promised a full balcony. This is NOT the case for standard or lagoon CL. So FYI. At YC CL you have a full balcony.

I just liked the YC vibe better. We stayed CL 6 years in a row but this past summer did not. We did not miss it at all. I was such a fan of CL for many years but it is different now than it has been in the past. We didn't find the worth in it last time....

We have stayed at both YC and BC CL several times, and much prefer YC. Part of that is we just like the YC more than the BC (balcony, decor, views).

But also, as PP said, the YC club lounge is set up better. They do offer the same food and drink, so that is not a factor. Having said that, I would stay at BC CL again (if YC was full ;)).

I've stayed at both BC and YC club level numerous times. I prefer YC over BC (because YC is quieter and doesn't have all the noise that frequently occurs in the BC lobby), but there are not significant differences between the two resorts.

Club level food is similar, cast members on both sides are great, resorts generally share many amenities. BC is closer to Epcot, but in the grand scheme of the amount of walking one does at WDW, it really is a minor difference. As others have said, the lounge at YC is bigger than the one at BC, but, even though it is smaller, I've never really had a problem with crowding at the BC lounge.

I've also recently stayed at WL club level. I did not find the food, cast members, etc. to be significantly better or worse than what can be found at YC or BC.

You can't go wrong with whichever one you choose.
