I have the same camera, but haven't taken it to WDW yet. What type of Camera Bag do you use at WDW. The bag that I have is kind of big and bulky so I need something more streamlined that will hold the D80 with the 18-200mm VR zoom attached, a spare battery and maybe my sb800 flash.

Mamiamjo...I'll pm you about the camera bag.:goodvibes

More ducks.....
Hey....If your in the pool, they will join in !!!!
Yes, for sure, in my 2nd life...gonna be a Disney Duck !!:rolleyes1

Does anyone have pictures of the rooms? I saw the one in one of the posts, it looks so nice! has it changed?

34 more days til BCV!!

Do the BCV studios have hair dryers? I know regular rooms do, so I assume that the villas do to. Am I right to assume?

Do ALL the YC rooms with 2 queen beds have a day bed ?

If only 2 requests are allowed on for a YC reservation - we would then only request a room view of the wedding gazebo and an upper floor.

Thanks for your expertise !

No, not all YC rooms with queens have a day bed. We had that sorry experience on our trip over Easter. Not only did we not get a daybed, which we requested, in our connecting room, we got a king in one of the rooms - fine for DH and self, but not so fine considering we were traveling with DD and her friend (both 21), DS and his girlfriend, (both 18) and DS age 10. So the sleeping configuration, as you can see, was somewhat complicated:laughing: So we ended up getting a roll-away, which in the opinion of DS age 18, was like a "sheet on top of springs":rotfl: - just horrible! But I told him those are the sacrifices you have to make if you want your sweetie to come along!
Anyway, we found out that special requests for room locations or content are almost impossible when the resort is as 100% occupancy. Oh, well....

Just came back from a quick 2-day trip. My boyfriend and his family always stayed at the Yacht Club and I had never seen the resort. He took me on a tour and I snapped these pictures:

Needless to say, I HAVE to stay at Yacht Club next time we go!

Pooh2001,

Sorry I didn't see your request sooner or I would have responded quicker. We were at the YC in October and one afternoon there was a lovely wedding in the gazebo. So, this is for your YC wedding memories.

The Rose Garden Wedding Gazebo:

Same location but lit for the night:

The setting was right, now all we need are guests and bride.

No WDW bride should arrive without a royal coach.

The guests have arrived, the violinist is tuning up and the wedding coordinator is giving last minute directions.

Here comes the bride.

The violinist sets just the right theme with, "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes".

Let's hope they live happily ever after!

How many 2 bdrm villas there are @ BCV? Just curious. Love the pics, keep'em coming.

A little over a day to go now to my stay at the Beach Club. I am looking forward to it and will hopefully be able to take A LOT of pics...:thumbsup2

What is a two bedroom "dedicated" (?) unit? Do the 2 bdrm villas have a full veranda or simply those miniscule ones? Thanks.

A 2 bdrm is like a 2 bdrm house...1 main entry door.
A lock off 2 bdrm is a studio + 1 bdrm with a door in between the units..hence..2 outside entry doors.
BTW..Some DVCers make sure they get the dedicated, so as NOT to have an additional outside door with kids in a studio's.

Hey...JERSEYDISFAN
Do you live by me ??? :confused3 GREAT courtyard/wedding pictures!! :thumbsup2

From the pics it looks like they decorate pretty well for the holidays. Is that carousel there every year?

Too bad it would probably be too chilly in Dec to make use of SAB, or else we would stay here during our Dec trip.

Sigh.....I SO want to stay here. :sad1:

Ok I have a question for all you Yacht/Beach Club lovers. Have any of you stayed at the Boardwalk before? If so, which do you like more? My DH and I have stayed at the Boardwalk for the last 3 years and love it. This year we booked BW again, but they were sold out of water/boardwalk views. Yacht Club has water views still avail. I am trying to decided on if I want to switch or not. Any suggestions??
