Which would you suggest with fewer kids for a couple going begin of Nov? And would you pick the regular hotel or the Villa? Thanks

Personally, I would go with Boardwalk as my 1st choice and the YC as my 2nd. I like the theme of these two resorts and I'd prefer to be closer to clubs, dining and shopping offered at the Boardwalk. Just my guess, but I would think that the Stormalong Bay pool at the BC/YC draws alot of kids.

When I travel with my family, I look at villas and rooms where we can spread out alittle bit more. When travelling with just DH and myself, a hotel room is fine. That's just us though.

Yacht Club-Quieter, more refined. Still connected to all the fun and a romantic walk or 5 minute boat ride to the boardwalk.

Having stayed at both BWI and YC before I had a child, I'd choose BWI. Actually, I'd choose BWI, period. YC is certainly nice, but it seems more sedate, whereas BWI has a little bit of whimsy to go along with the luxury.

Hi lindym! For us, we prefer the villas. The 1bdrm villas are definitely romantic (whirlpool tub)... although we have yet to try one for fear of being spoiled. But we find the studio setup to be quite comfy for 2 adults. It's nice to have a sofa to relax on instead of just the typical hotel 2-bed config.
If you can forego daily maid service, you could even save some money by renting DVC for your trip. Although, F&W is very popular w/ DVCers, so most of Nov might be sold out by now.
BWV vs BCV is a hard one. Everyone is different... We love BWV 'cause it seems more lively and upbeat. IMO there might be a little less kids at BWV vs. BCV, but YMMV. Good luck w/ your choice!

DH and I have stayed in a 1-bedroom at the Beach Club Villas, and it was wonderful! We just go by ourselves (or with another couple), and we enjoy being in the Epcot resort area. The pool was crazy with kids...but we really didn't mind b/c when we wanted quiet time, we used the pool near the villas which was always quiet.

We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas for the 1st time this August. We are looking forward to being closer to the bars and entertainment offered on the Boardwalk!! It is so much fun over there!! :cool1:

I love the Boardwalk Inn. It is such a classy resort and the quiet pool has always been just that, quiet! It is a small resort with a more intimate feel. We are BCV Dvcers and I love this resort too but there are a lot of children. If you like saab then go with the Yacht Club. You could upgrade to concierge!

All yout choices are great !!!! You really can't miss out! :flower:

Here's another vote for the villas. I prefer BWV over BCV. The BWV were planned and the BCV seem 'added on' with some views that are not appealing whereas the planned BWV have some awesome views and are right in the middle of the action.

I vote for the YC - were there without kids last year and are going again this year. The room is great and the hotel is really nice. While the pool may attract a lot of kids, its just the best pool ever and me and dh really like it. I would trade the not so long walk to the boardwalk for the best pool.

We've stayed at the BC and while we enjoyed it we liked out stay at the BWI last month even better. The staff was wonderful and we had a terrific garden view room with the Eiffel Tower from Epcot in view. In order my choices would be:

BWI or BWV (depending on how much space you want)
Yacht Club
Beach Club
