YABC/Illuminations Cruise Help

Thanks to another DISer, I get to surprise DS7 and DGM58 with an Illuminations Cruise on 1/13 (thank you Jim!!!!) I have to be at the Yacht and Beach Club around 8:00pm for the cruise. How do I get there from Epcot???? I have never stayed at a resort other than the Value Resorts and only went to the Poly once for Mass. I've been through the Contemporary on the Monorail. That's the extent of my knowledge of such things!!!! So, if someone could PLEASE tell me the BEST way to get where I need to go, I would REALLY appreciate it!!!

Also, I am requesting Pixie Dust! I've lost my SUITCASE and we leave in a little over a week!!!!!!! I know, how could I lose a suitcase?????

The easiest and fastest way to get to Yacht Club/Beach lub marina is to walk. Go out the international gateway exit (between UK and France) and follow the sidewalk to the marina. Or, if you wish, go out the gateway and catch the Friendship launch which lets you off right near the area where to pontoon boats are berthed. It is very easy to get to the marina from Epcot. Have a great time on the illuminations cruise--it is wonderful

hello, how was your x-mas? hope it was great! how about this weather? wow. anyway.....to answer your qeustion: You'll want to exit EPCOT from the International gateway section(just next to france in world showcase). you have 2 choices: take the boat which will drop you off directly at Y&BC's dock or if you feel like walking; just follow the path straight ahead making sure to stay to the right. this path will take you directly to Y&BC(only 5-10 leisurely stroll), going to the left will take you to the boardwalk side of the lake. to eliminate confusion; I'd suggest taking the boat....unless, of course, you have the time to take the stroll around the boardwalk which would be pretty cool as well. either way-enjoy....

WOW!! Thank you SO much!! I had no idea that the resort was RIGHT there!!! I thought I was going to have to do something spectacular to get where I needed to go!!! Thanks so much for responding and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!???
