Y&R take 3 - SPOILERS inside

Susan Walters (Diane Jenkins) is coming back to Genoa City! Diane is the mother of Jack's son Kyle. She's also the woman Jack cheated with when he was married to Patty back in the 80's.

Victor Takes Over Jabot

This week, Victor trumps Jack and Ashley in a bid for Jabot and the nefarious Mr. Newman buys the company from Tucker McCall.

The news is delivered to Jack and Ashley by none other than Tucker himself. When Tucker arrives, Jack tells him to "spare the niceties" and get to the good news, but Tucker informs him that he doesn't have any. When Tucker drops the bomb that Jack and Ashley were out-bid by Victor Newman, they are gobsmacked.

Jack is angry because he thinks Victor cheated. Jack's had purposely over-bid to make sure the Abbotts would get their company back, so for Victor to come in and out-bid him at the last second is very suspicious. Jack believes Victor was being given inside information.

Peter Bergman jokes that the audience is going to be "shocked" to learn that Victor is the winner yet again. (Wink, wink... nudge, nudge... lots of sarcasm here.)

As Jack continues stewing, Victor shows up and tells the Abbott siblings that they have one week to clean out their offices and leave Jabot. Yep -- you read it right. Victor FIRES Jack and Ashley!

Needless to say, Ashley is stunned. She can't believe that this man who has brought so much heartache to her family is doing this to her -- not to mention trying to take the ranch away. Meanwhile, Jack is worried because he knows how terribly this could go. He feels like he was played because the truce he and Victor called was a farce. Victor was setting him up all along. When Jack realizes this, he is furious. In his fury, he vows to prove that Victor cheated.

After firing Jack and Ashley, Victor twists the knife for the Abbotts even more by introducing them to the brand new "ambassadress" at Jabot -- Gloria Bardwell!

Jack, of course, is irate. He hates the fact that Gloria will be the new representative of his father's company and he hates that Victor is tarnishing Jabot like this. Says Bergman, "Victor is playing really dirty. He is so determined to get back at Jack that he's willing to destroy his own investment. That's how deep his hatred of Jack is. It's not pretty."

When Jack voices his displeasure of Gloria's hiring, Victor sternly promises that this is only the beginning. However, despite Victor's machinations, don't count Jack and Ashley out just yet. Teases Bergman, "Things look really bad right now, but this ain't over..."

Victoria and Billy are Stranded Together!

"Frenemies" Victoria and Billy find themselves spending quite a bit of time together when a freak storm grounds their flight(s) and they're stranded at a Newark airport.

To pass the time, Victoria and JT visit the bar. Victoria is annoyed when Billy gives her a glimpse of the latest Restless Style cover, which features a picture of her father. However, her annoyance is rested when Billy tells her that the story is actually about Adam.

Billy Miller says that Billy and Victoria have an "interesting dynamic" because they have so much in common but they also have so many issues with each other.

Meanwhile, in Genoa City, Mac and J.T. find themselves spending quite a bit of time with each other as well as they play board games together. (Yawn.)

Victoria returns home in time to celebrate her wedding anniversary, but she and J.T. end up bickering about Tucker McCall. When the argument gets too heated, Victoria rushes out in tears and runs into Billy, who kindly tries to comfort her when he sees that she's been crying.

With Victoria's marriage falling apart, will she fight to keep it together or will she turn to Billy Abbott?

Didn't Gloria use her $ to help Jack's bid? In any case, too funny about her being the new face of Jabot. Or old face.

I'm thinking Victor is only doing this to force Ashley to give him the ranch back. He knows putting Gloria in charge of Jabot will be just enough of push to force Ashley's hand. Its sick considering that SOB Victor is walking around with an Abbotts heart in his chest.

I can't believe I am just finding this thread. Been watching this show since I was a toddler (not stating how many years that is...).

I am so with you all on the NuMalcom... I know NO ONE can replace the old one but this one has got to go!

And Adam OMG when is he going to get busted and how many chances can he have.

So I tried to read through all the threads but I may have missed a few. Does anyone think that Daisy is Sheila's daughter and tormenting her for her mother's sake???? Daisy keeps talking about how evil her mother is and seems to be targeting Lauren sooo.....

So happy to have a place for Y&R gossip..

Has anyone else been watching so long that when the actor or actress of the day (today is was Jess Walton's voice) says, "Additional sponsorship by......." they finish it "Lily Reuben Salons...." I always do... I think it was the late 70's early 80's when Lily Reuben (sp?) was a sponsor.....

I thought of today, why doesn't someone just but a "bug" in Tucker's office? And I would think that Catherine would have video survelliance on her house. I know the electricity was cut but it might show the person before they cut the power. I know if I was that rich, I'd have it. And where was Ester? And isn't it funny, you never see any other hired help there? Not even a driver.
