Wow, now I don’t know how I feel…. I mean, I agree that the show would have a void without him, but where does his character have to go? I mean he’s gone thru 2 dead babies in 2 years, a related 2 near deaths in 2years, 2 new wives in 2 years…… If they follow thru with the Nikki/Europe trip, is he gonna come back and give Newman to one of the kids irrevocably til he decides he has to be CEO again??....vow to live peacefully with the Abbotts til Jack or Billy pisses him off?.... blissfully marry Nikki AGAIN til one of them has an affair?.....

I’d be glad if he stays but I guess I was kinda looking forward to something new….

Yeah! I'm so relieved! I think Victor IS the show.

I know he's going to be gone someday but I think it should be gradual as they slowly introduce a younger, mega millionaire man/family to replace him.

As tiresome as SOME of the storylines are, I am not ready to completely give up on Y&R yet. The elimination of the mustache probably would have pushed me to that, though.

I have a ques for the nurses on the board… Since Ashley had a miscarriage, and wasn’t seen medically afterwards, in reality would there have been anything for her to deliver? Could she continue to carry a dead fetus for that long and then deliver it? Or would it have been expelled when she miscarried? I guess I’m asking how far fetched that storyline is.

the show may live on for a while without victor, but if the storylines don't get better, it's going to tank anyway. i've already stopped watching, as have most of the people i know who were fans-the storylines are sickening (sharon losing a THIRD child? victor getting colleen's heart when he's responsible for her death c'mon!). i just read the spoilers on this thread now

I agree. I used to make sure I saw the show every day. Now-I really don't care anymore. I am SOO sick of Adam-no real person could get away with the things he has. I catch up here and occasionally watch either on
CBS or Soapnet.

I'm also glad he is staying also but they need to humanize him some more. He was always ruthless but still had a heart. He lost all that about a year ago. He had some of it when married to Sabrina...she was good for him.

Unless she had a partial(incomplete) miscarriage at the time resulting in hemorrhaging, she would be fine. If she did start to bleed out than to stop the bleeding they would want to do surgery to remove the left over pregnancy tissue.

In most cases the pregnancy tissue is passed out naturally and the bleeding will stop within a few days. An operation to clear the uterus'can still be an option if the bleeding does not stop within a few days, or if bleeding is severe, or if there are any signs of possible infection. In some cases some will be offered what doctors call ..medical treatment for a miscarriage.

That is, you may be offered medication to take either by mouth or to insert into the ******. The medication helps to clear the uterus and can have the same effect as an operation. You do not usually need to be admitted to hospital for this. You may continue to bleed for up to three weeks when medical treatment is used. However, the bleeding should not be too heavy. Many women prefer this treatment because it usually means that they do not need to be admitted to hospital and do not need an operation.

I have 2 takes on this.......


When they showed the person that would be playing Ryder's mom...the actress that is...she was was the same actress that at one time played Patty. So my take as mentioned awhile back is.....

The person that everyone thinks is patty really is not. I believe that the patty in the hospital new the real patty, who is really Ryder's mom,(the actress that was once the real patty on the show) and took on her identity.... this fake patty(who we have no idea who she really is) has always been mentally ill and at some time met the real patty in the hospital/psych ward/group meetings. or where ever and liked her so much that she decided she wanted to be like her...so Ryders mom, the real patty who apparently has money, figures well why not and what better way to get back at Jack......so she paid a crooked plastic surgeon a lot of $$$ and he did the face change, but instead of making her look like her...she had her look like the shrink that treated them both. But first she had to kill off the shrink..........

Victor went looking for the real patty and ran across the fake one stating she was patty. And that is where the story begins.

Seemed to strange to me that they would bring back an actress that once played patty to be someone else......

Maybe we are all being fooled and Patty is really the shrink....maybe patty became a psychiatrist(stranger things have happened in soaps) and after making lots of $$$$ had her face changed ...maybe someone else that was dead..., she than had one of her crazy patients turned into looking like her, and filled her head with all stories about her life and convinced the crazy patient that she was patty who had her face changed(maybe the pts name in real life was also called patty) ... so she could set this into motion and that Victor really didn't have as much to do with all this as we think This would be Sheila like....but not sheila...

Maybe Victor found her while she was in the hospital after her surgery(which the real patty;the shrink paid for)...after all why would he have had her face made up to look like the shrink? That makes no sense.

Also the shrink seems really weird to me......like she knows more than she is letting on. I still think that when Paul said that he recognised something about her but could not put his finger on it...that it was not patty he was rememebring but the face of a dead person in which he worked on a case years and years ago of a woman that was found dead that his patty was being acoused of but it was sooooooooo long ago and little became of it so he forgot about it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRR

maybe patty killed the shrink (who was patties shrink) and took on her identity with changing her face to look like her..... she was able to do this because the shrink had $$$$. She found and paid off the plastic surgeon who was in on it for a lot of money.....than Patty took over her career and than set in the motion of having one of her crazy pts have a face change by the same plastic surgeon to set all in motion to go after Jack....and that is when Victor found her, right after the face change, with the new identity of patty, but Victor changed that....again...not knowing what was going on....after all Victor had a real stymied look on his face when the shrink walked in his room all my stories are around the same.....but think if they are to revive Victor this is what may happen


and remember, Paul might have recognised her not as patty, but from a long ago Dr/ shrink that he met once that was treating patty when he went to visit her.

On another note-- just watched Monday’s episode….I’m stickin’ to my prediction—Emily is gonna get involved with both and then end up being torn between Paul and Jack!...which will be a betrayal to Patty/MJ ...whoever they are!

He's shocked to see Sharon passing out candy with his brother. Nick starts to get into it with Adam but Phyllis pulls him away. Adam is pleased. It's not anything Adam planned for that night, just an added bonus. "It's like Tyson and Holyfield. Somebody is going to bite somebody's ear off. Nick 'fesses up about how much A/S got under his skin to Phyllis. Phyllis doesn't think Adam is on the up and up and tells Adam so. Nick tries to warn Sharon off Adam. Sharon tells Nick he can't pick and choose her friends. Muhney (he's the only one quoted in this article) believes Adam really cares about Sharon. "I think that it's a surprise even to him." He feels Sharon is the one person he can be himself around, he kind of wants to push away the whole baby thing. Nick pretty much begs Adam to stay away from Sharon. When that doesn't work, Nick gives his bro an assignment that will keep him far away from Sharon - literally.
